I'm not getting in this fight, but I'm just curious about something. Where do you draw the line for someone to be (or not) a huge steaming pile of shit? I don't care about Jameis Winston. This line just caught my attention.

When I think of that term, i usually equate it with a convicted felon that has committed a serious offense, such as raping or M.o.l.e.s.t.i.n.g a child. Committing a murder, etc.

I dont usually jump to judgement on someone that is not convicted yet. If he did r*pe her and its being covered up by him and the school,state and its proven, then i will make my judgement.

Just curious because this is the first I have ever heard this. And I was following every place I could think of in and around Tallahassee and FL when the story happened and up until now. What posts are you speaking of? Twitter posts or something else?

And the way you phrased everything I have absolutely no problem with because you gave the caveat that you do not know for sure.

Oh ok. Did not see the second hand part. According to Darby and Casher it seemed to be the other way, but again that is heresay.

In a nutshell, he was using the alleged victim for some side booty and broke it off with her when his girlfriend was coming to see him. So the woman got mad and claimed r*pe. that was the story told by his supporters.

So - as was pointed out - perhaps "steaming pile of shit" is a bit harsh as a descriptor, but he is clearly a womanizer, a thief and a vandal. He also must hold the record in the state of Florida for the fastest to ever serve 20 hours of community service. It all adds up to a self-entitled user who feels he is not answerable to any rules.

I'll acquiesce on the pile of shit comment - but not my opinion that he is a major douche.

The story about the girlfriend coming to town was actually true. His girlfriend who is a basketball player at Rice showed up the next day. Why she stays with him knowing he cheated on her is beyond me, but that is her choice. Now as to the side piece of ass I had read and heard that as well. Also the story about the sorority she belonged to which a group of girls from that one do actually call themselves "Cleat Chasers". Whether she was one of those has yet to be told. The one thing about her that seems to bug me more than anything is that she this past fall before the university set her up to do college from home(I will not name where) was all dolled up and went to EVERY FSU home game. That seems odd, but college kids are sometimes hard to figure out.

To the community service I think you needed to do some research. He did 5 hours per day for four days at a YMCA. He did it Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Cleaned the YMCA in northwest Tallahassee. Here is an article from USA Today about it. Remember he could not practice with the baseball team, travel, or play so he had the time to do it quickly.

They will interview him and speak about all things, then they will look at film, then his testing scores, NFL Combine scores, and Pro-Day at FSU.

I can guarantee you that if he lights up the NCAA again this year like he did last year and is electrifying the fans and audiences, wins the title again in the new playoff format that he will get plenty of attention come draft time no matter what was written or thought of him during his college days.

The NFL is a business and they look at profit margins. You bring in a player like Winston(based on scenario above) and he will put butts in the seats and give you an obvious chance to win games. I can cite an example of a team who took a chance on a young man who had controversy surrounding him when they took him. His upside was huge due to raw talent, but his downside was the controversy. His passing skills were mediocre, his size, athleticism and running ability were outstanding. The obvious controversy mattered not to the team or the fans, they wanted a player who could electrify the fans.

Fact is that no concrete proof as of yet has hit the streets on Winston's action in that alleged r*pe and until it does its all just an allegation with rumor and gossip, kinda like the Duke Lacrosse situation.
