We have a little bit of wiggle room at the moment thanks to some contract restructurings and player releases. But its between $7 and $8 so not much...

I think PIT is still in the mix for finding a vet backup RB. Here is the FA RB pool:
1. DeMarco Murray
2. C.J. Spiller
3. Ryan Mathews
4. Justin Forsett
5. Frank Gore
6. Shane Vereen
7. Stevan Ridley
8. Roy Helu
9. Reggie Bush
10. Ahmad Bradshaw
11. Darren McFadden
12. Knowshon Moreno
13. Pierre Thomas
14. Ben Tate
15. DeAngelo Williams
16. Steven Jackson
17. Chris Johnson
18. Antone Smith
19. Jacquizz Rodgers

But after the in-house signings of Ben & Heyward, and 1 other (DeCastro or Beachum?) there will likely only be a few mil left in the black. Which will be used for signing the rooks.

If they release Poly after June 1st, which they will, they free up $6mil in cap space. So that would help with other FA signings.

With the kind of money reportedly playing around early...I think it's best to stay indoors!

Suh...okay I expected a $100 mil deal from somebody...Maxwell...$50mil/25mil g? Really? I wanted him him, but in SEA they really don't feel he's a #1 CB...good but not a #1.

Suh is reportedly being offered $114mil... absurd
Maxwell... yea not worth $40-50mil he's supposedly being offered

Worilds' value is going to spike. Both McPhee & Hughes are closing in on deals, which leaves Worilds as one of the few young OLB FAs left on the market. Still linked to Philly, as well as Tennessee.

Suh...yeah, but was expecting him and Houston to go north of $100mil...I wouldn't want my team to pay that kind of money to any one player that's not the QB.

Spike? The McPhee & Hughes numbers are more in the realm of what I thought Worilds would get initially...now I'm thinking Worilds number might be less than $40 mil actually, and Graham in the $34-36 mil range.

We shall see...the Steelers could still be in play for Worilds if the number is less than $40 mil.

Really? Okay...then he's gone...He should get more than that.
I know he'll get more than that... But I don't think he's worth it. I wouldn't pay him more than $30-35mil. Just my opinion...

Same page.

$30/5/$12 preferred...love to have him back in this range and I'd still draft a LB high (1st 3 rds depending who is on the board) JJ might not get a 2nd contract if he's doesn't get a full year under his belt this season.

$35/5/$15 max deal

I'm very curious to see what Colbert and crew do this week. I'm sure 2nd or 3rd tier if anything, but it might give us some idea of they're direction on draft day.

Spaeth was an unsung hero last season. Glad Colbert is getting smart business done first... Solidifying the roster!

Yep, it was time...still waiting for Troy to announce his retirement...otherwise he'll be a June 1 release.
