a little bit, but he has a good pedigree, we have a bell cow RB, he tanked in INDY, but he should be hungry to compete, if its cheap, go for it, if he sucks, cut em in camp

I was wrong...having seen the Bama RBs upclose in college...I thought Trich was the most talented runner...he lost something in CLE...I thought Yeldon was the 2nd...he would be even cheaper...little more upright runner like Bell, also a little more shifty than Trich.

I would much rather have Frenchie or D-Will. But its not a bad idea for a fall back option.

Dwill, I'd take at the right price...I think he can handle 4 games as the man, but the injuries do concern me.

Yeldon is a 2nd rd talent that could get pushed into the 3rd based on position...I'd like to have a S 1st but 3rd/4th rd I'd love to have him.

Definitely. If they do indeed bring in a vet RB, do we keep both Harris & Archer rostered or cut ties with one? I'd cut ties with Archer. Will Johnson has to factor into the discussion when talking about keeping 4 true RBs on the 53. It would be a waste.

Obviously we'd let them battle in camps but down to the final 53...

Archer has to show something early or he's going to be a quick cut...I'm still holding out hope there.

Sounds like Ben agreed to a team friendly contract. I was expecting it to be around the $120mil range. Still gets paid around $20mil/yr so he's getting paid like the elite QB he is.

Anyone care to elaborate on this? Why would we lose a draft pick for his retirement?

Is Ed referring to the Comp pick they would've got for losing Worilds in FA?

Maybe? That would make more sense than having a real pick taken away for him retiring.
