Demarcus Ware was just released by the Cowboys.

Ware is being linked to the Broncos already. Looks like either the Broncos are going to sign Ware or Jared Allen. Probably going to compare to see what each wants then take the cheaper of the two.

I'd be thrilled with either of those two.

Yeah I was hoping for a while to get one of the younger FA DE's like Johnson or Houston but Ware and Allen fit into what Elway likes to do. Usually sign one long term contract to a guy outside of the Broncos like the signing of Ward then sign others to 1-2 year deals to keep us in check for the Cap. My guess is Ware and Allen both fit that. Plus now that they are both on the market it should drop their price a bit as a team can say "if you don't want to sign with us at this price then we will just take our offer to the other."

Looks like Jared did not like the broncos offer and decided he would rather retire than play for what they offered. I would rather have ware anyway. When healthy he is a big time player still. Him and Von would be a two man wrecking crew

Wow that was a shocker. Don't know how to feel about that. He is a lot more physical than DRC and better when healthy but the health and off the field stuff is hard to get past. Would love to see the details of this contract

But those numbers mean very little. I want to know if they have safety things like if he gets suspended again or how many years is he really signed for? That six years means very little

Talib, Ward and possibly Ware. What a haul on D. There is still a big hole on the O-Line but WOW. Making NE weaker while strengthening the Broncos. Shefty is practically yelling that the Broncos are the CLEAR favorite for Ware. No wonder the Broncos moved up my first payment of my season tix. Lol

Talib is a concern with his ability to stay healthy and off the field issues. Contract most likely has strict stipulations.
