Anyone know his cap hit? Wikipedia says he signed a 5 year $37.5 mil deal with the Buccaneers last year and Rotoworld says he signed a 1 year deal for $1.5 mil 3 months ago.

I'm still drooling over the thought of signing Richard Seymour. He's perfect to come off the bench & collapse the pocket a few plays a half. He can spell the DEs and even play NT on passing downs. And the Niners have almost no NT depth.
Seymour is an all-time great at timing the snap & getting up field quickly. His problem is he's old now & doesn't want to admit he might not be an every-down player. But for 15 snaps a game, he's perfect IMO.
The guy can play any position on the DL no matter what the front. If he really wants 10 million to play, he'll be retired. If he's more reasonable and plays for 4 or so he could complete the best defense in the NFL.
What we DON'T want to see if him in a Falcons' uniform. They came dangerously close to beating the Niners last year.
Jets re-signed WR Braylon Edwards to a one-year contract.
This was fully expected to be finalized after Edwards went through a physical with Gang Green earlier on Wednesday. The 30-year-old appeared in three games for the Jets last season, catching ten passes for 125 yards. New York was in dire need of veteran receiver help with Santonio Holmes (Lisfranc surgery) still on the shelf. Edwards has a real shot to start in Week 1 against the Bucs. Braylon Edwards - WR - Jets
The NY Daily News' Manish Mehta expects Braylon Edwards to start in Week 1.
He'll likely get the nod over Stephen Hill at X receiver, with Jeremy Kerley at Z. More ominously for Edwards' already-poor fantasy outlook is the fact that Mehta expects him to draw Darrelle Revis on Opening Day against the Bucs. Edwards won't be worth drafting outside of exceptionally deep fantasy leagues. Source: Manish Mehta on Twitter
Cardinals agreed to terms with RT Eric Winston on a one-year contract.
The top offensive tackle left on the street is finally off the board. Although the 29-year-old Winston has been released in each of the last two offseasons, he brings 103 NFL starts to the table and was a top-nine right tackle in Pro Football Focus' grades while with the Chiefs last year. He'll start at right tackle, allowing Bobby Massie to move inside to right guard. Nate Potter will enter a camp duel with consistently disappointing Levi Brown for the starting left tackle job. The Cardinals' offensive line is still a bottom-five unit, but they got better by adding Winston. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter
DT Sedrick Ellis has told the Bears he intends to retire.
Ellis signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Bears in June and was expected to serve as interior depth on the defensive line. He didn't show for camp. The early retirement caps a busted NFL career for Ellis, who was billed as an impact pass rusher when the Saints took him seventh overall in the 2008 draft. The USC product finishes his career with just 12.5 sacks across five seasons. Source: Kevin Seifert on Twitter
