Huff's next tour stop
March, 21, 2013 7:43AM ET
By Tim Kavanagh | ESPN.com

Earlier this week, a report indicated that there were four teams interested in signing former Oakland Raiders S Michael Huff, and we can update the situation on Thursday morning, as he's begun his visitation tour.

According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Baltimore Ravens are set to host Huff at some point this week.

Baltimore just lost out on the Ed Reed bidding war with Houston -- and released Bernard Pollard recently -- so there's a need at the position. Furthermore, they've got a little cap room with which to play (around $7.2 million, per the Baltimore Sun), so they should be able to fit a deal with Huff in that framework.

Bears announced they were unable to sign LB Brian Urlacher and are moving in another direction.

I'm surprised by that. I can't see Urlacher having more value for another team than he does for the Bears.

Another suitor for Osi
March, 21, 2013 10:24AM ET
By Tim Kavanagh | ESPN.com

Earlier this week, a report emerged that multiple teams were interested in signing veteran DE Osi Umenyiora, including the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins. We've now learned the identity of one of the other mystery teams.

According to Mike Garafolo of USA Today, Umenyiora met with the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday. Osi lives in the Atlanta area, so signing with the Falcons would be convenient from that standpoint. From the team's side, they're looking to get their hands talons on a new pass-rusher, after bidding adieu to John Abraham in a cap space-saving move earlier this offseason.

The "Big Four" of veteran free agent DEs -- Umenyiora, Abraham, Dwight Freeney and Elvis Dumervil -- appear to be waiting until one of them makes a deal to help set their own market, and we keep hearing the same teams as being interested: Atlanta, Baltimore, Denver, Detroit, Miami and New England. Once one signs, we could see the other three find homes soon thereafter.

Mike Reiss:

Adrian Wilson said he's offering up a year's worth of Pampers to Kyle Arrington (new dad) for the No. 24. Well played.

Jenna Laine:

Confirmed: Former Bucs QB Josh Johnson has agreed to terms with the Bengals on a two-year deal. Will be finalized tomorrow.

Wahoo!!!! The only thing that stopped me from completely hating his signing with the 49ers was the Harbaugh connection he has. I didn't want to see him back fighting for a spot.

Speaking of the #Bears: They still want to re-sign DE Israel Idonije and are trying to do so. Must fight off the #49ers to make it happen

Rotoworld's view on Idonije interest:

"Predictably, the Bears' signing of DE Turk McBride hasn't stemmed their interest in Idonije, who tallied 7.5 sacks last season. Idonije is on the wrong side of 30, but would be a nice piece of depth for the 49ers behind Justin and Aldon Smith."

Elvis Dumervil - DL - Free Agent

The Denver Post reports the Dolphins have "jumped into discussions" for free agent Elvis Dumervil.
Dumervil has been weighing offers from the Broncos and Ravens. The Dolphins have more salary cap room than both of those clubs, though Denver beat writer Mike Klis acknowledges that the extent of Miami's Dumervil interest is "unclear." Dumervil, 29, is the premier free agent remaining on the open market.

I wouldn't mind this signing. I always liked him as a player.
