Rotoworld:

49ers signed WR Marlon Moore, formerly of the Dolphins, to a one-year contract.

Moore appeared in 14 games last season, but could never crack the Dolphins' wafer-thin receiver rotation. He finished with six catches for 116 yards. San Francisco is similarly lean at wideout, but Moore will be facing an uphill battle to make the 53-man roster

Osi's next team
March, 18, 2013 3:14PM ET
By Tim Kavanagh | ESPN.com

Like any of the other veteran pass-rushers still remaining on the free agent market, Osi Umenyiora has probably been horrified with some of the deals being signed by the likes of Cliff Avril, Michael Bennett and Connor Barwin (whose $36 million deal only has $8 million guaranteed). Things have been pretty quiet in terms of Umenyiora's next club aside from speculation earlier this month that the Atlanta Falcons were interested. But, there's a bit of an update on the situation as of Monday afternoon.

Per Mike Garafolo of USA Today, multiple teams -- including the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins -- have expressed interest in Umenyiora, but obviously whatever's being offered hasn't been up Osi's expectations. A return to the New York Giants hasn't been completely ruled out, but from what the veteran was saying earlier this offseason, it seems unlikely that he'd come back for the kind of role he played in 2012. Soon enough, though, he might be in a different mood regarding such an offer.

Osi would be a nice consolation prize if the Niners can't get Dumervil. He'd be a perfect guy to give a 1-year deal so he can try to prove he's defensive MVP material. Unfortunately, he'd probably want to start for a 4-3 team.

Abraham looks like the most realistic option.

Panthers Rivera wants Ginn
March, 20, 2013 1:38PM ET
By Tom Carpenter | ESPN.com

The Carolina Panthers gave Ted Ginn Jr. a contract offer after he visited with the team this week, and coach Ron Rivera was raving Wednesday about the wide receiver/return man's potential if he chooses to sign with the Panthers, according to Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer.

“Ted came in and did a nice job. I know our guys really spoke highly of his visit,” Rivera said.

“The interesting thing about Ted is he gives us some depth at wide receiver who can challenge for playing time opportunity. But also he's got special teams value, which is big.”

The Cincinnati Bengals also reportedly have an offer on the table to Ginn, so he has at least a couple of options to mull over. The Detroit Lions are amongst other teams who may have some interest in Ginn if he doesn't pull the trigger with the Panthers or Bengals. He never earned a serious role as a wide receiver during his tenure with the San Francisco 49ers, but perhaps he could find a niche as a pass-catcher with the Panthers.

Both Dwight Freeney and John Abraham will be at the Broncos' facility tomorrow ... Maybe they can arm-wrestle -- Winner gets a contract?!

Elvis Dumervil - DL - Free Agent

The Denver Post reports free agent Elvis Dumervil was "underwhelmed" by the Broncos' most recent offer, and is planning to begin visiting other teams within the next 48 hours.
Denver reportedly made a three-year offer, but is now "prepared to move on." The Broncos will host free agents Dwight Freeney and John Abraham in the next 24 offers. With neither side appearing keen on a new deal, Dumervil is likely done in Denver. According to the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens still have "serious interest" in Dumervil, but have a "fairly tight" cap situation.

49ers gave K Phil Dawson a one-year, $2.25 million deal, including $1 million signing bonus. Great deal for Niners, not-so-great for Dawson.

So he's not a top 10 paid kicker this year. Matt Bryant is at 10 with a salary of 2.675M. My guess is that 11-15 or 11-20 are much closer together than 1-10 so he's probably somewhere in the 11-15 range if I had to guess.

Janikowski - 4M
Scobee - 3.45M
Bironas - 3,337,500
Barth - 3.3M
Prater - 3.25M
Gostkowski - 3,151,800
Vinatieri - 3,066,667
Crosby - 2.950M
Lindell - 2.750M
Bryant - 2.675M
