I doubt whether Williams sisters fans care very much whether Sharapova wins or not. There is no comparison or rivalry between them regardless of how much the media always promotes it. Even you know that it has never been a contest either in wins, titles,player earnings or head to head for them to regard this as a serious rivalry. It is only the media that hypes Sugarpova. It is amazing how they blasted Monica Seles for her "shrieks" and are more orgasmic on Sugapova's screeching sounds.

It's funny but you seem to have a short memory, as it wasn't but a couple months ago that someone opened a thread that said "when will the hyped Sharapova win something of significance". It was a sister fan if I recall correctly. So yeah they are affected by this win on a scale of high magnitude.

I enjoyed this match. Halep played at a high level, she hit sharp shots well.

She made a fan out of me.

I don't think comparing her to Henin is accurate, as Halep has more pop on her shots.
