Flyers sign Couturier to three-year entry-level contract

I guess he has a good shot at making the team. During the Leafs broadcast last night the announcers were saying that the FLyers expect him to make the team as well.

as i mentioned on the general thread, if he doesn't make the team, this contract wont count as one of the 50, it will slide to next year if he spends the year in the Q.. and his 3 years will start next year

Yep they have some flexibility and the carrots dangled in front of the kids eyes I guess we'll see if he's ready or not. If anything he's probably ready for the AHL and won't learn much more in the Q. Loved the hustle from the young guns.....nice change from Carts draggin his ass all over the ice!

but for years we were led to believe that carter was so fast and was such a force on the ice.....

yeah during game beers are the best, i play much better slow pitch softball 2-3 beers buzz.
