I would take Bobby Lou over Bryz, having said that I think Bryz will bounce back this season.

If this does happen in no way will Shenn be dealt.

I still dont know how we could do this deal without giving back salary. Ive read we are just 2.5 million under the cap right now. Maybe Briere goes back the other way? Although I would hate to do that. We need scoring depth.

If Lu couldn't handle the pressure in van what makes anyone think that he could handle Philly? Its basically a lateral move so why give up assets for this especially valuable dmen that are much needed right now? Now if they traded for a younger goalie with a lessor cap hit I could see that being a benificial move.

We dont know wether or not Lu could handle it here. Maybe the change if scenery would help.

Simply put, Luongo>Bryzgalov. If Homer can actually improve out goaltender without giving up a lot, I won't complain.

Yep I hear you but he has to be better as the cap hits higher and longer. I guess they could let him go if it doesn't pan out but I'd rather take my chances with Bryz this year and keep the players we have. Thera a good chance that Bryz shows up vastly improved after a year under his belt.

Well the cap hit is .3 mil more, and if we do acquire Luongo we are off the hook with his cap hit if he retires.

I agree about Bryz though. I still support him and think he will bounce back

If a young goalie came up and played great for us pushing out Bryz it just wouldnt be normal that doesnt happen in Philly oh man but i wish it did so bad.
