I hate Buttman as much as the next fan, but I have to give the league credit for a good business decision on this one. Here in Philly we may not care about the outdoor games in NY, but it's giving fans more of what they obviously want and they'll make a boatload of money doing it because you know they'll sell out - just like the next one in Philly will. Personally though, after getting financially raped by the forced purchase of the Alumni and AHL games in order to attend the 2012 Winter Classic, I'll never buy tickets for another one.

I'm less concerned with cheapening outdoor games by having more of them, and more concerned with hosting them in March. Yeah, it's pretty cold in Chicago, but that's a bit of a risk, don't you think? It was over 70 degrees back in 1992, and the average high on the first is 41 degrees.

agree,and that includes Quick and Rinne.
With the Flyers luck with goalies,he's sure to pull a Bryz,and suck after signing.

I inflated his cap hit to make sure we could make it work, but I could certainly see him fetching 8mil on the open market. (If he makes it)

That being said, I have learned my lesson. Don't overpay for goalies, especially those playing on defensive minded teams.
