I put more value in touchdowns since points are what wins games.

So according to that logic Bob Hayes was far superior to Michael Irvin, he had more TD's in two less seasons.

So forget pro bowls, All Pro, all that matters is how many TD's a guy scored, really?

Rushing Touchdown Leaders
RK PLAYER TD
1 Emmitt Smith 164
2 LaDainian Tomlinson 145
3 Marcus Allen 123
4 ADRIAN PETERSON 118
5 Walter Payton 110
6 Jim Brown 106
7 John Riggins 104
8 Marshall Faulk 100
Shaun Alexander 100
10 Barry Sanders 99

John Riggins wouldn't make a zit on the butt of Barrry Sanders.

Jim Brown was far FAR better than Emmitt Smith.

The argument could be made.

Where did you ever get this silly idea I over rate speed? Walter Payton was no speedster, Rice no track guy. i just know track and that track/football connection.

You give me a failed track star and I'll give you two track star successes, can ya do it, remember.....littered.

I have around 100 so......
I don't know, maybe because you talked SPEED to ad nauseam.

But no, I'm sure it was just US not you.

Dude, THE OFF SEASON..... so why not let a guy who knows this stuff add a little to your football knowleage? I want to know all I can so I do, you don't?

Dude, you said the place was littered with failed tracksters trying to make the NFL, ok so....who? You don't have a clue do ya?

Every one ya name I;ll give ya two who did make it.

Remember your cornerback Terrance Newman,, did ya know he was a 10.20 cat and a former Big12sprint champ while at Kansas State?

Remembr Mel Renfro, would ya believe he was a running back at Oregon who ran on a world record 4x1 team, a 13.7 hurdler, a 25=10 long jumper and a 9.6 100 guy.

Harrrison, Moss, Owens, Tim Brown, Carter, Wayne, can be debated where they belong behind Rice/Fitzgerald.

The best receiving gang I have ever seen was the Chargers with Kellen Winslow, Charley Joiner, John Jefferson who was spectacular. But when it comes to just two productive WR (sorry Tom and Crazy Legs) Moss and Carter for the few years they had together.
They were really only together for one year and Wes Chandler stepped in and not much of a beat was missed as could be seen in the famous 1982 playoff game that is the greatest game I've ever seen,,,

I was thinking two seasons and yep Chandler took over and did a great JJ.

Jefferson off to GB and James Lofton country, never was the same.

Dude

NFL Board. I for 1 don't give a rats ass about sprints, and again it isn't all that important on the football field, especially in PADS.

Welp, looks like I may as well keep it simple with you.

So, you were talking out your ass about ALL those failed tracksters, I knew that.

Well a lot of people did get into DK Metcalf running a 100m. when Schwartz was drafted they went on and on about his world class speed. We have heard all about Rayeem Moster being a Big10 sprint champ, know all about Tyreek Hill, so yes some do care. So stay simple my man, it looks good on ya.

I did want to show off but knew you couldn't name anyone at all, so....littered....hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, I can fill three 8 lane 100m using just Raiders, ha!

What do we do with Paul Warfield? Hard to believe he was a running back at Ohio State with that frame but he was and a good one. He was also a 26-2 long jumpe who was on a USA team vs the Russians, Was world ranked in the event.

An 8 time pro bowler, twice all pro and in the HOF.

427 Receptions
8365 yards
and.....85 TD's
One of the few with a career average over 20, with a 20.1.

The cat glided, so smooth,,,,,

The NFL is in FACT littered with world class speed FAILURES.

Who here can give me the names of college sprinters/footballers who failed in the NFL, well? Talking guys on the track and football teams.

Manster thinking college sprinters run the 40, hahaha!!!!

O.J.Simpson ran on a world record 4x1 team and played some football. He is the kind of athlete I;m talking about.

NFL uses the 40 for a reason. Why do you think that is?

Now how about the nfl is littered with track failures. I gave you a link to that I also gave you a link with NFL coaches saying the same thing I've been saying. All the speed in the world is worth no more than the shit you spew.
