Yeah it might be. Not a Woody hater but really don't believe he is what we need. We'll see.

To me Woodys biggest mistake so far is the misuse of pitching especially the pen. Burke should have a more prominent role. Rolling Holland out there is a joke. Overdependant of Allard. Most of this is just lack of talent but we would have got another win if they had switched days on Burke/Allard. They have to make Snyder a 6th or 7th inning winning piece

Totally using K Calhoun too much

He should get his shot when LeClerc Hernandez come up. And needed another pitcher instead of bullpen game. Rosters shrink in June so it will get even tougher

Woody comes across like a real friendly guy but not very tough. You need toughness inbred into players. I know you have to relate these days and sympathize but when you go to battle you need a guy who inspires guys to go to war and do things they never thought they could

For example having pitchers nibble vs going out there and pitching their best stuff without flinching. A manager needs to drill that in

Woody does not come across like a guy who can do this. I imagine more of a pretty please can you try harder. I have never seen one butt kicking.

28th in WHIP and dead last in AVG against (.292). Most HR given up. Dead last in team ERA (6.19). The pitching has been absolute dogshit. If that doesn't improve, someone's out of a job.

I think that a good chunk of Woody's strategy with the bullpen has been affected by the starters not being able to provide innings. You'd like to be able to only run 2 or 3 RP's out a night. Woody's been using 5 or 6. And some of his options aren't great, like Holland.

Not trying to say that Woody doesn't have issues with 'pen management, but fact is he hasn't been given a whole lot with them and has been forced to use them more than we'd like.

Howard I'll give you, but there's a few guys ahead of Perez in the problematic department.
