Outside of a crazy run by Rawls and a defensive TD we mustered 10 points.... Bevell's stupid conservative playcalling lost us the Super Bowl (and let's face it, when we won it we can thank our defense for that) and clearly lost us the game today.

I thought it was stupid at first, but Marshawn Lynch's mom is absolutely SPOT ON.

He's not the solution. They need to get rid of him to see how much he contributes to the problem and then move on from there.

If a defensive minded coach has to step in and overrule his offensive coordinator, that's a problem.

The head coach dictates the game plan. The OC calls the plays. Their entire philosophy is to play conservatively with a lead. It killed us today but let's also admit it was a last second thing and the Bengals had everything go their way.

It happens. 3 of our 4 hardest road games are out of the way. The team played well until they took he air out of the ball.

Blowing 17 point leads in the 4th quarter do not just "happen". And part of the problem is Bevell is spineless and won't stand up to PC. You think guys like Chow, Sark, Kiffin, ... would put up for something like this? At USC he let those guys do their thing and didn't interfere. Hopefully USC does can Sark and we make an offer to him. Sark's as clueless on defense as PC is on offense so it's a perfect match.

Bevell wasn't responsible for the defense giving up 17 points in 12 minutes.

The offense couldn't stay on the field. They just needed a couple of first downs and they stalled. And when you constantly have to say "Well it isn't so and so's fault" it's pretty clear that person doesn't add much value at all.

I say fire him and promote Cable. That's how bad this is.

Well it wouldn't be a Seahawks loss without a demand to fire Bevell.

Wow, if you'real looking for a coach to play scape goat for this loss, Then look no further than Brian Schneider, special teams was atrocious, especially punt coverage. Why not just get rid of the entire staff, cause that' sabot what will need to happen to change the coaching out there.

The answer is yes. Fire him, promote Cable, and see who's available in the off-season if Cable sucks just as bad. This team isn't going anywhere anyway.

You have nothing to defend him with besides "it's not his fault". that's how it's been for years. That's a pretty good indication that he adds no value whatsoever.

I'm not really defending him as much discrediting the scapegoat approach to losses.

I think the play calling was way too conservative. But I think that is a mandate from Carroll.

It's okay because we have Russell Wilson locked.

Guess Sark is on the way out at USC. Starting to come out that he's been asked to take a leave of absence. I'd love to see him here.

That fourth quarter shitfest wasn't just on one guy. Everybody has some blame there.

Defenses get tired. They gave you a 17 point lead WITH a TD THEY put together. Seattle's D has been on the field a TON. At some point your defense can't do everything, they were gassed towards the end. What didn't help and the REASON we lost the Super Bowl was pansy ass Bevell can't get any offense going and we just give the opposing offense EVERY opportunity to get back in it. As soon as Seattle failed to sustain that opening 4th quarter drive I knew we were screwed.

Seattle lost this game the EXACT same way they lost the Super Bowl. 3 and out, 3 and out, 3 and out.... after already letting our defense get gassed in the first half. Seattle's offense is prob. close to one of the worst I've seen and a lot of it is at the QB and O coord position.

Utter bs. Conservative play calling woud run on 3rd and short. Dipshit bevell called pass on those downs. Could have burned off extra time.

This game was essentially a replay of the Super Bowl in terms of how not to play with a 4th quarter lead. You'd think a staff would learn lessons from a smack upside the head on the biggest stage, but apparently that would be asking too much.

If they want to sit on a lead like this, they need to devote more planning to scheming open receivers on 3rd and short/medium. Otherwise this will keep happening.
