They did that 6 months ago. They didn't want him managing in the last year of his contract. When he does get fired it will most likely be with at least a year remaining on his contract.

Not prioritizing Calhoun getting AB's against LH with 2 weeks left in the season isn't gonna make my Woody criticism list.

I have never really been a Woodward fan. I hope when they hire a new guy that the decision making is all on Chris Young. JD is pretty much in line to take a Golden Sombrero if he hires a fourth manager.
