Im still shocked that wasn't block. Special teams were a mess today. We need to get a better special teams coach.

We need to get a better special teams coach, a better DC, a DL coach, and a better OC. It's shocking that we've been able to play in the playoffs for three straight years with such an incompetent coaching staff.

Kind of. I was temping several years back, had a lot of down time at work, it was the football offseason, and I figured, what the hell, why not write that novel I've kind of wanted to since college? I was a history major. It's about the fall of Constantinople. Gripping stuff. Really.

Don't count on it. But we'll see. I would like to finish it some day, just no idea when. I haven't worked on it at all in several years. Historical fiction is tough to write, cause you've got to actually do the research if you want things to be accurate. Some of the stuff I wanted to include hasn't seen a ton of scholarship - at least in English. And there were some strong religious themes that would require pretty significant work to do justice to.

I couldn't scream it out loud because of the company I was watching the game with, but my mind was screaming "FUCK NOOOOO!!!" as House came flying onto the screen and looked for sure like he was going to block the kick.


After the kick everyone else was like "Oooh Dawson barely made it!" I was the only one in disbelief wondering aloud how on God's green earth the kick didn't get blocked. I didn't know about the off sides penalty though because at that point I was too busy celebrating while repeating "How was that not blocked? How was that not blocked?!"


So thanks for the gif, I can replay my heart attack all over again.
