This will be a weekly poll. Anyone is welcome, but hopefully you come back to update your vote as things change. This thread is to track the value of Justin Fields over the last 3 games of the season. What kind of value can get in a trade? It could change over time. The deadline is set for the beginning of the nfl year on March 13.

Right now,I believe we could get a 2nd and hopefully some change, but I think just a 2nd.......which is better than the 3rd I figured just before he got hurt.....

Theres teams out there that need ls a qb and not all are gonna wanna trade up to get one because of the cost.......

Atl picking 10th
LV picking 12th
Seattle 13th
NO 14th

Those 4 teams I believe would take JF with a 2nd without giving up the farm moving up to get a qb........

I voted Less on December 18. Hopefully Fields can make me change my mind and update my choice.

Currently the Seahawks don't have a 2nd round pick, (trade for DL Williams).

just because he isn't your cup of tea doesn't make that his value.

No way I even bother moving him if I'm Chicago for a 4th rounder or less.

I think he'll remain with the Bears for that reason. Not a case of being my cup of tea, and it's not just me. Last week NFL.com had him as the #24 QB with all the injured starting QBs out of the list. He rose to #16 after the Lions game and he'll likely drop again after the Browns game. He's not a top 20 QB. Why would a team give up a significant pick for a developmental QB with only 1 year on his contract?

I still think it's very much 50 50

A lot of deep drops against a top 5 DL. Very few plays getting him in space. 4 or 5 drops as well.

Before Sunday, heard a comparison that Fields has as many scrimmage yards, TD and INT in his last 32 games as Baker Mayfield and Carson Wentz have in their last 32 games. Would you want Mayfield or Wentz?

And for everyone clamoring for more weapons for Fields, please note DJ Moore had 3 consecutive 1100+ seasons (nearly 1200 yards in 16 games) with Mayfield, Darnold and Bridgwater throwing to him. Moore still needs about 350 yards with Fields in the next 3 games (1 extra game) to reach that target.

Falcons bench Ridder for Hienecke.......
Atl is of now 10th in the draft order.....possibly lower.
Too far down without giving up alot to move up for a higher pick....
Bears are probably finished with him....

I think JF is a Falcon next season for a 2nd........

You don't think they use that 10th overall for Fields?

No........Would you give up a no.1 for JF......I would not.

Theres other qbs that could fall to them,or they trade to no higher than 5.

I just dont think theres a team out there thatll give you a no.1 for him.....thats just my opinion.
Maybe a team picking in the 20s or upper teens, but not a top 10 drafting team.....

I would agree, however getting the QB position is usually a priority.

Looking around the league, the number of teams with terrible QB (like half the league) could force a bidding war for Fields.

And Fields has shown flashes of brilliance.

He does, that 230 yard game was huge. The problem is the 25, 40 and 50 yard games in between. 17 games, what do you have to average 60 to be a 1000 yard receiver? Thats pretty sad.

Its always why. Why did he go for 230, 104, 131 and 114. The past two weeks of slo mo replays of where Goff and Flacco are fitting the ball are throws Fields will not even try. Those are NFL open throws. Herb was best referring to some of Goffs throws as thats not college open. But he never said that when Fields was on the field.

I keep going back to Cam Newton. Closest player to cam who was off rosters at 32. What is the future? delaying the inevitable is a term that fits. I am not thinking they are leaning towards resetting any clocks though. I see a cutler like player coming in and actually having fields compete to get on the field. The gadget player analogy was so on target, problem is, Fields will not try to run anyone over.

Atlanta is a spot, but there sure are not alot more. You also know Trey Lance is only in dallas because the big money is gone from his deal, is he a better trade candidate for teams?

Ive said that yesterday.....Trey Lance never got a shot to showcase what he can do......
Hes started a whole 4 games and 2 came in his rookie season, one came against us in a 40+ mdh wind monsoon weather game and next game he got the season ending injury.....

I think he got the shaft.....

The talent is off the charts. Many blame the Bears not Fields. I could see a late 1st if things fall a certain way.

That's funny considering they just had that anonymous survey of 7 NFL GM's that unanimously said the Bears should trade Fields.

Reverse psychology?!?

I think they were saying if it was their choice, they would under the circumstances that they did not draft him and they dont lose their jobs when he moves on and does better. I do not see Caleb as anything better and I cannot get Maye and North Carolina away from Trubisky. There is a guy names sam Hartman that is top 5 all time passing in college available later. Does it matter that you barely know the top 10 on that list other than Keenum and Baker?

Caleb has the transfer to get a spot mentality, which means he gets no competition, like Fields. I say you force the guy to compete next year.
