Bucs signed WR Cole Beasley.​

Beasley was released by the Bills in March after being overtaken by Isaiah McKenzie as Josh Allen's slot receiver. He could find immediate playing time in Tampa, where the Bucs are without Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Mike Evans (suspension). It's a concerning development for Russell Gage, the team's presumed slot guy with Godwin sidelined. Beasley in 2021 caught 82 passes for 693 yards and a touchdown. For now, Beasley is only a waiver add in the deepest fantasy formats.

I get it now, they are just going to put everybody in the slot and hope the other team doesn't notice and still covers ghost receivers on the outside.

Free agent QBs A.J. McCarron, Garrett Gilbert, Kevin Hogan, Mike Glennon, and Kurt Benkert worked out for the 49ers on Tuesday.​

McCarron suffered a torn ACL in the 2021 preseason and has had no visits or interest since. This is a rough crew, but that's what happens when you lose a quarterback in-season. Gilbert has started a game in each of the last two seasons and is probably the most competent option on the list. Glennon started four disastrous games with the Giants last year and has the most recent starting experience.

This is rapidly turning into a strange football season...

Josh Jacobs (illness) is not traveling with the team to Nashville.​

He's officially listed as questionable with an illness. This also doesn't mean that the Raiders won't bring him over Saturday or something. But this would seem like a pretty big sign that he's not going to be playing on Sunday against the Titans. Zamir White, Brandon Bolden, or a committee? That's the question for fantasy purposes if Jacobs is indeed not going to suit up on Sunday.
