Shocked Dalvin settled for one year. Sucks for Breece Hall owners, but could've been worse. Hall's '24 is still intact
I doubt anyone would offer more than one year.

The times, they are 'a changing. ;)

Wow.

R.I.P.

Former Ravens and Seahawks RB Alex Collins passed away at the age of 28.

Both the Ravens and Seahawks announced the sudden and tragic news on their respective social media accounts late Monday evening. Collins, known for his upbeat demeanor and penchant for Irish dancing, last played for the Seahawks during the 2022 season and became an unrestricted free agent in March.

The $8.6 million is the shocker for me. I'm really surprised they are paying him that kind of money. One thing is for sure, anybody that hoped Bam Knight or Michael Carter were going to have any kind of fantasy value were sadly mistaken. The will be an interesting backfield to watch around week 6 once Hall is fully healthy. By paying him that much they are also making him virtually impossible to trade because nobody is going to take on that kind of running back salary. Wonder how much of this was Rodgers saying he wanted a veteran back he could trust back there with him?

Hall won't be ready Week 1, and if Rodgers is only going to be with the Jets for 34 regular-season games, you don't want the first four of those to rely on Michael Carter and Bam Knight.

Those four: home v Buffalo, at Dallas, home v Pats, home v KC.

This regime can't allow themselves to possibly start 0-4 after getting Rodgers. They can't.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Hall is activated off PUP.

Kudos to the Jets. I think these moves clearly have a "win now" mentality.
If Rodgers was the cog that got the NYJ brass to sign Dalvin, just makes you wonder if Rodgers knows his skillset is diminishing and he knows he can't be relied upon all season long. I mean, what QB wants to run the ball as opposed to showcasing his passing ability?

A QB that understands football.
