OTOH, hard to get points when you don’t see ten touches in any game after Halloween… Mattison ain’t Chubb.
Healthy. Played all season. Yet the Browns chose not to use him. Still concerning imo.

He is 28, so Hunt isn't gonna get better at this point.

See, here's the thing with guys like this. Really good in the past. Totally underused with the Brownies.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet on a nice short term comeback in the proper circumstances with the right team.

Same..I would bet that for one year, Hunt could outplay Mattison.

Either way, I would also bet the Vikings '24 RB is neither on the roster, nor Kareem Hunt

Query: How many good years has Jonathan Taylor had in the NFL?

th (40).jpg

Colts HC Shane Steichen said he expects RB Jonathan Taylor back with the team next week.
Taylor requested a trade earlier in the offseason and has also been rehabbing his ankle injury from last season. Steichen added that Taylor’s timeline also depends on when he’s able to gain full medical clearance. Even with the update to Steichen’s expectations, it appears as if this saga is far from over.

It's Deuce Mania in Dallas!

Local talking heads going nuts over the little guy.

right, of course the guy I poke fun at a week ago instantly serves up some crow
he's clearly better than practice squad/3rd stringers, or at least he was for one game so far

Hard not to root for a guy like that, kinda like Brock Purdy.

Had a draft last night.
Crazy run on QB but I digress.
JT and Jacobs both fell to round 3.
Seems like if anyone is digging in on their holdout, its Jacobs.
Zamir actually looked pretty good, even if it was just a preseason game.

Well thankfully what Zeke has left in the tank isnt enough to panic me much. But yes, a flick to the left testicle fer sure
Just when you think you can trust a Pats backfield...

I'm sorry, let me amend that.

NEVER trust a Pats backfield.

I still trust it about as much as I did before. Only thing that really changes in my mind is-
A) there's a definitive handcuff for Stevenson now, and
B) I should expect a few less TD's. I had the number at 8-10, now I'm guessing 5-8.

Otherwise I don't really see much changing. Possible silver lining- maybe Stevenson retains more of his receiving role with Zeke taking some of the shorter stuff. 69 receptions last year led the Patriots.
