There's much more 'hatred' towards the Broncos than the Chiefs. KC is a definite division rival, no love lost there with the Chiefs to be sure, but not on the same level as the Broncos. Losing to KC is a bitch, losing to Denver means the entire season had no point. 1-16 is acceptable, so long as that one as the Broncos..'the season sucked, but at least we beat those pricks'
Probably dating myself here, but I'm harkening back to the days of guys like Len Dawson, Otis Taylor, Ben Davidson, George Blanda, Daryle Lamonica, and of course, Hank Stram and John Madden. Oh yeah, this guy named Al Davis.

Those two teams hated each other back then with a passion.

Well it got the local yocals talking about it this morning..but not for long..they all agreed, really quickly, that there's no logical reason whatsoever for the Broncos to pursue Jacobs.

They have no need, they have no resources to trade, nor any desire to sign a long term contract with a high dollar RB

If I tilt my head sideways I can kind of see it make sense if Javonte is part of the deal.

Kareem Hunt expected to sign with the Saints, Kendre Miller drafters might be waiting a season but they prob should've already been planning on that with Jamaal "TD" Williams in the house.

2 Kamaras and a Blount in the house..not ideal for anyone involved. At least not this year

Are they going to cut kamara? That's too many veteran backs

Considering he's signed through '25, that'd be pretty surprising. A lot of dead money for multiple years to cut him. They'd be paying dead money through '27 season if I'm reading it right. The time to cut him would be between this season and next offseason where, yes they'd still be carrying dead money, but less, and the cap savings would be much greater than the dead money..much much greater

unless they can void the contract under the player conduct violations..which with only a 3 game suspension, I don't think would go over very well, and would be a huge red flag to future potential free agents

A lot of guys once Kamara comes back. I don't see a clear role for Hunt once Kamara comes back. At least Miller can be a return guy

If they trade him the dead money is only 7M and the cap savings are 1M. Since we're after June 1st it looks like they can cut him and create some extra cap savings in 2024/2025, but I dont have the time right now to figure out the exact details.

Adding a third down pass catching RB is odd unless they feel Kamara will be limited or something. This is very confusing, glad I have no stock in the Saints RB corp.

Hunt played all 17 games and I don't think he cracked 150 fantasy points (which is bench fodder if not the player cesspool).
Can't see him becoming relevant in N'Orleans.
