Still an unknown what Judge Robinson will do but below is good news for Browns fans. The NFL won't risk an appeal if she suspends him for say half the season. I have been saying 8-10 all along. Goodell fucked up bad with the owners, no way he appeals

Deshaun Watson's disciplinary hearing with the NFL has concluded after three days.​

Now the sides must wait for a decision from judge Sue Robinson. There is no official timetable. In the past, this is the sort of news the NFL might have buried over a long holiday weekend. It is unclear if that is logistically possible in this instance. Per Profootballtalk's Mike Florio, the league interviewed 12 of Watson's alleged victims, focusing on five. Florio also reports the league has acknowledged its proposed indefinite ban would be unprecedented. Florio expects the NFLPA to argue Watson deserves no punishment, due in part to precedents like the NFL's lack of a ban for Patriots owner Robert Kraft in his prostitution case. We would expect the saga to be resolved before training camp, and quite possibly within the next few days.

Panthers acquired QB Baker Mayfield from the Browns in exchange for a conditional 2024 fifth-round pick.​

Additionally, Mayfield has agreed to a $3.5 million pay cut in the final year of his deal this upcoming season, while the Browns will absorb $10.5 million and the Panthers around $5 million. Carolina and Seattle always made the most sense for Mayfield after the Deshaun Watson acquisition by Cleveland. And with the Panthers, Mayfield should be the overwhelming favorite to start Week 1 against, you guessed it, the Browns. Giddy up. In Mayfield and Sam Darnold, the Panthers now employ the Nos. 1 and 3 overall picks from the 2018 draft. Mayfield’s addition doesn’t exactly move the needle much for Carolina’s pass-catchers in terms of fantasy.

Sam Darnold is coming off two straight seasons of 9 Tds and 13 Ints and YPAs under 6.3. I know Baker Mayfield isnt exciting but he is at least a whole tier better than that. That doesnt move the needle high but if it doesnt move your needle at all then I think you were overrating Panthers players

IDK Mayfield on a better and healthier team and roster 17 TDs 13 Int. 7.2 YPA doesn't inspire confidence. Another bad QB decision by the Panthers and heads will roll because of it come end on season. I own Mayfield in a SF league so won't mind being wrong. Just oh so thankful Mayfield didn't end up being a Seahawk player.
