I love Claypool's pure raw talent, what 'could be' is seemingly limitless.

But that's been a Steelers WR M.O. pretty much ever since Hines Ward departed.

Antonio Brown, could have laid legit claim to #2 WR ever status but was/is a basket case

I think Martavious Bryant could've been every bit as great as Randy Moss, but sadly, no.

I'm sure there's others they just aren't coming to mind ATM

And now it's Claypools turn. Is it something in the ketchup bottle??
Honestly, I'm waiting on pickens. But either or. Youre right on marty b. God he was good. Amazing when he wanted to be. But just not there. Why he got drafted late and fizzled. Dude coulda been great
Claypool is a poor man's Marty B... He's got plenty of talent to be a top 10 WR, but he just doesn't have the dog in him. Unless you're talking about the bark & not the bite lol. He can highpoint the ball with the best of them, but his tendencies to flop & look for DPI is frustrating. It's like watching a basketball player try to play in the NFL. You don't need to flop to draw penalties in the NFL... Just catch the damn ball

Here is a video recap of Claypool on nearly every play:

Poor mans marty b is right. CraZy to say that a 5th round fizzled out wr. But its so
True
George Pickens is next... Bank on it
Yes sir. Mr balaclava is oozing talent

Usually dual sided NDA's in these types of things. Not likely to ever REALLY know, although I imagine numbers get leaked, which may or may not be accurate

lawyer for the last 4 definitely wants that $ number leaked so he can drive up the price to get the rest settled

Just remember... Settlement doesn't influence NFL's discipline.

NFL is still seeking a big suspension...

He reportedly offered all of them $100,00 apiece and all declined.

I wonder how much the final price is?

let's just ballpark it at $125k since they turned down the 100k orig offer...20 cases settled, $2.5MIL with 4 cases left to settle or go to court.....

I'm not a lawyer or a judge or even really care what people do in their personal lives, but 2.5mil = GUILTY, imo, or he wouldn't even dream of shelling out that much money, regardless of how much money he's getting from the gas station bandito Jimmy H

Honestly. Its not much based on that contract for him to be able To move on. Team probably pushing to settle also.

Likely we never find out what the dollar amount actually is but saw this estimation for what ever it is worth:

Our estimated settlement value for the Deshaun Watson civil lawsuits is between $1.5 to $2.5 million for each plaintiff for a total of $33-55 million.

I'm not saying he is guilty or not guilty but when you have 24 women against you, you aren't winning if you are innocent or guilty. The whole thing is just suspicious in itself and weird but no criminal charges is what it is. My guess he gets 12-16 games but appeals and gets 8-10 or something like that.

That's about what I was thinking. Bare minimum 1 million each, and depending on just how hard any individual women has him by the short andcurries, it'll go up from there case by case.

I know I won't believe, for a millisecond, any reports of any of them settling for less than a cool mill

It doesn't hurt that all of them are represented by the same lawyer. Wow, this guy Buzbee is about to make his bones.

Yeah, but even if it is that much, are we even sure that Deshaun is the one that will be paying that money? Hell the Browns probably just told him that they would pay whatever settlement amount it took just to get this over with. In the grand scheme of things that's pennies for Browns ownership to not have everything in those cases become public record. They are already dealing with enough PR backlash and I'm sure they are paying at least part of this settlement amount, but we'll never know, because that's the kind of shit we never hear about but you know it happens.
