He did, but is impossible that he may changed his mind on the matter?
Seems very unlikely considering he already said that. More hope than anything. Anyone can make outrageous claims that have no basis to them other than a random person tweeting

1. Goodell already said there is no reason for an exempt bc no criminal charges.

2. They aren’t backing out of the contract

3. Mayfield will never step in the Browns facility or his home ever again

4. The Browns know more than us
I'm with you on the first three, but I'm not sure there is anything in the past that proves the Browns know more than us. I'm pretty sure some of us could have done a better job than some people in that front office. I'll bet one of us could have stumbled a team into the Super Bowl by now.

1) yes, but his view point could change on the matter
2) Depends on what the suspension turns out to be IMO
3) correct
4) maybe or maybe they just panicked
1. That is more hope from you and others.

4. No they know more than random people on twitter

One thing that isn’t mentioned is the team for Watson could push back after a suspension bc owners did not receive a justifiable suspension, specifically Kraft.

This is a new FO. They can’t be liable for what moves were made in the past but they definitely can be questioned for this move. Every Browns fan has questioned it, I hated it at first but then I realized when he does play he is a big upgrade from Baker. We will see, I’m not buying this narrative this drags out for years, suspension wise.

IDK visits 66 masseuses and more then a third file against him. Some happened after some these cases were filed. The odds that this behavior predates these cases are very high IMO.

Kraft was visiting (illegal) sex workers. Gross, but not quite as violating as what Watson is accused of.

I think this is the biggest problem when the NFL is judge and jury in these cases, because they have to decide whether this is worse or better than things that have happened in the past and then this will also set a precedent. Big Ben got a accused of r*pe and wasn't convicted and he got six games reduced to 4. Kareem Hunt got 8 games for video showing he pushed and kicked a woman. Donte Stallworth killed somebody with DUI manslaughter and he got a year. Adrian Peterson got a year for the "child abuse" incident. Paul Hornung and Calvin Ridley both got a year for gambling, Ridley for gambling when he wasn't even with the team. Pacman Jones got a year after being arrested and interviewed by police like 10 different times. Where does this fall in the spectrum because it really seems like there is no rhyme or reason to how many games they give people. Not to mention all of the substance abuse suspensions. So how does one decide if this is worse than the Kareem Hunt incident when there was video of what he did and no matter what ends up coming out, there clearly isn't any substantial evidence against Watson or one of the grand juries would have indicted him. Or whether this is equal to, less than, or worse than Adrian Peterson getting a child abuse conviction. I don't really count the Michael Vick or Plaxico Burress incidents because they actually served a prison sentence as their punishment. It's just crazy to me that the unions are okay with the NFL's role in these suspensions. Call me crazy but maybe there should be a non-NFL panel of people that decides if there is enough evidence to warrant a suspension and then a separate non-NFL panel should decide how long that suspension should be.

These cases are always he said-she said so nearly impossible to convict criminally and in this case Watson asked if anyone was about and made it clear he wanted no one about and no camera's . He also brought NDA papers ( who brings NDA to a massage?). Feel this shows Watson was aware he was not acting appropriately and was taking precautions to avoid having criminal charges stick. Also Watson, famous and rich, word vs some no name masseuse, normally this never brings consequences for the rich and famous. The fact that he continued even after cases were filed shows how confident he was he could brush these charges off. In criminal cases the charges are near impossible to prove, but in civil cases it's another matter.

The union's not okay with it, and it changed. Now suspensions are handed out by somebody jointly appointed by the NFL and NFLPA.

Watson's problem is a) the number of these things, b) that it seems systematic, not a bad action in the heat of the moment, c) it looks like he wasn't straight about how many of them there were, and d) he maintains he doesn't have a problem.

I mean if it was only once, and he said the moment got the better of him and he's really sorry and will go to counseling, he might still have gotten a one-game suspension.

If Kareem Hunt had pushed and kicked, say, three women, we'd probably never have heard from him again.

I think that what makes this so tough because no matter what the penalty is you are going to have people saying that it isn't enough and people saying that it was too harsh. Obviously at this point he was clearly in the wrong we just don't know to what degree. I just can't for the life of me understand how the NFL can make a decision on this thing right now. There could still be so much more that comes out because I don't understand how they could possibly have any more information than both sides have already made public since the cases are ongoing.

Was hoping he grew up. Guess not . Hes always had rumors of inflated ego. Generally a good guy that just needs to grow up a bit. Nothing bad. Just get that work ethic down, thinks hes better than hes is.

@FaCe-LeE-uS @Superbelt @TheBurgh88 @thedddd @Bridgeburner you guys see this?!

He was on Brandon Marshall's podcast thing, I watched the clip, it's not as bad as media makes it sound. He was saying he's a top WR and the guys on the show were pumping him up, just typical jock talk, imo

Ahh ok . He is not a top wr. He has all the traits. But he needs to work. Scary thing is him and pickens both have those traits, and diontaes seperation is elite. Someone step up.

LOL yeah. @dash mentioned it. When I read that story I thought it was way too funny and think you are spot on. Big ego, if/when he matures he will be a good WR. On paper right now he is #3 on his own team.

I love Claypool's pure raw talent, what 'could be' is seemingly limitless.

But that's been a Steelers WR M.O. pretty much ever since Hines Ward departed.

Antonio Brown, could have laid legit claim to #2 WR ever status but was/is a basket case

I think Martavious Bryant could've been every bit as great as Randy Moss, but sadly, no.

I'm sure there's others they just aren't coming to mind ATM

And now it's Claypools turn. Is it something in the ketchup bottle??

Claypool is a poor man's Marty B... He's got plenty of talent to be a top 10 WR, but he just doesn't have the dog in him. Unless you're talking about the bark & not the bite lol. He can highpoint the ball with the best of them, but his tendencies to flop & look for DPI is frustrating. It's like watching a basketball player try to play in the NFL. You don't need to flop to draw penalties in the NFL... Just catch the damn ball

Here is a video recap of Claypool on nearly every play:
