Broncos are the only camp open, their HOF game opponent Saints don't go for another day or two, first day--starting ILB Todd Davis carted off the field.

It has begun

Some mild surprises there; Lindsay and Sanders healthy(?), Lock signed, Elway singing the praises of Flacco...well, maybe that last one was par for the course. ;)

Sanders didn't participate in team drills, but apparently could have. Yes, seem healthy enough for now

Yeah that is massive. The NFL suspends people if there was a hint at harming the brand. Makes me really want to see what he presented to prove he didnt do anything...

Must've been more than Zeke did on his deal a season or two ago

That is what I am saying. Zeke got suspended without much legal issues. Hill has been investigated twice over this incident and nothing happened. Interesting to say the least.

The Athletic's Vic Tafur expects Ryan Grant and fifth-round rookie Hunter Renfrow to compete for the Raiders' slot receiver job.

Most have expected Renfrow to win the job, but Tafur notes "everyone seems to forget about Grant." Grant was pretty bad with Andrew Luck in Indianapolis last year, getting passed on the depth chart at times by Chester Rogers and Zach Pascal. But coach Jon Gruden's brother, Jay, loved Grant in Washington, and Gruden is a big fan of veterans.

Whoever wins the job between Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams won't be of fantasy relevance.

This last part kinda mystifies me. Has Antonio Brown fallen that far?

Why so high in Tyrell. Honestly they should take Renfrow . He’s a clutch sure handed slot specialist who actually could be very useful , ask Clemson fans

I think it means, regardless of who wins the slot job, between Brown and Williams, there won't be significant targets for a third WR

POORLY written post

And one I highly disagree with. Having no real option at TE, a lot of those short to medium, over middle routes that Carr feels more than comfortable throwing and obviously has preferred to throw vs outside the numbers, will fall to the slot guy.
I think Oakland's slot will be twice the production of the WR2

Whomever wins the job [in the slot] between [the outside receivers], Antonio and Tyrell.

Most writers are absolutely retarded.

Alrighty, please let the season start already. Another ending statement that mystifies me, especially considering the first part. Fangio's evaluation seems pretty spot-on.

In discussing second-round QB Drew Lock's development, Broncos coach Vic Fangio said, "He's not a quarterback yet."

It's a pretty blunt criticism of the rookie, though Lock always figured to be a work in progress. "He's a hard-throwing pitcher that doesn't know how to pitch yet," said Fangio after Friday's practice. Lock showed a huge arm during his four-year run at Mizzou but was inconsistent and struggled on routine touch throws. Surely the Broncos are hoping he'll take the mantle from Joe Flacco at some point this season, but obviously he's not close to making that leap.

The Broncos will be good and Flacco won't lose the job.

Not this year, he won't. Kinda why the post irritated me, but then I remembered your other post about sports writers being idiots. ;)

I could see Flacco losing his job around Week 13 if Murphy's Law hits the Broncos. I do expect the Broncos to compete for a playoff spot but they could definitely go either way. I'd imagine the last thing the Broncos locker room wants is a QB controversy so I don't really see that as news. Its the expected statement.

The question really becomes - does Robinson keep his old targets and gain Conley's targets? That would be 85 targets which puts him on the radar, at least, but with Hill officially in the mix then he stock his pretty much trash atm.
