This hypothetical player wouldve been RB7 last year in ppr. Id be starting him every week.
And even if you arent youre odds are still 50/50 when you play him. Expected value of 15 points instead of expected value of 12.
The majority of fantasy players might dislike those players but I think theyre wrong too.
Guess we'll see how that works out for you in D2, but since you traded for David Johnson, maybe not.
Those duds might cost you just like those 30 pointers might win you weeks.
Wait Im confused...what does DJ have to do with this?
But it happens alot, consistency is always better than an oddball blow up. It more reliable, more predictable, and gives you better odds at success every week. You're not going to find hardly anyone anywhere that wouldn't agreeIn that hypothetical situation youre correct, but thats a very narrowly defined situation.
You take both, bench the stud player for the playoffs and then play him in a matchup he's prime to go off in.
He doesn't.How do you know when hes primed to go off though?
Because up tell then you went with a lot of boom or bust types. David Johnson on the other hand is a fairly sure thing, cover up for some players that bust. Great insurance policy and I'm jealous that you pulled that off so cheaply.

I prefer consistency and a shot at the occasional week of greatness. That's why i never draft Djax or Landry. (Except my absurd scoring big play league. .Djax's big weeks in that one are worth the duds, cuz top scorer at years end wins the same amount as playoff winner)Im not sure it happens more often than the alternative.
Ill take a shot at greatness over guaranteed mediocrity.
And if nobody else agrees thats ok with me
What did you give up for DJ?Wait Im confused...what does DJ have to do with this?

Nice..................if Gronk stays healthy it's a fair trade. Tatonka.McCaffrey and Gronk

Not compared to what I got for David Johnson. Think Ehb5 would agree.Nice..................if Gronk stays healthy it's a fair trade. Tatonka.
no its not, lolNice..................if Gronk stays healthy it's a fair trade. Tatonka.
oh so i know in wk 15 its gonna happenLook at the matchup. Like last year, Cooks in Arizona. The year before, Woodhead against Miami. Those were both week 15. Generally, studs or products of studs(such as elite qb) tend to go off in fantasy playoffs.
