DJax separates his shoulder running into the blocking machine pad thingy. Begs the question, why are you pretending to be a linebacker?

Rotoworld: Sankey has bulked up 6-7 pounds from last season, and writer Jim Wyatt believes it will make him "stronger and more durable."

Six pounds is bulking up? That's an Italian beef, fries and a Coke. He's bound to lose the extra weight when he goes to the bathroom.

And that makes him stronger more durable? Who writes this stuff?

Not so sure this will put fear into the hearts of any defenders...

Seems like a real possibility that the #Titans 3-WR set to open 2015 will be Kendall Wright, Harry Douglas, and Hakeem Nicks.

This will definitely cool the DGB talk there

For what its worth I heard DGB was abusing the DBs in camp
I'm sure he'll be in the mix at some point.

See post 301 this thread.
I know but that goes with me previous post about people seeing things differently. That was the first real negative thing ive seen on him. Again I know he is raw but he is a physical Freak.

He had an awful lot of negative things about him coming into the draft, mostly his mindset, attitude, personal responsibility. Why do receivers drop balls? Because they aren't focused on what they're doing. Goes right back to the mental aspects that everyone was concerned about to start with. Just a small piece of evidence that starts to confirm those concerns

Blount hurt his knee in practice today.

"LeGarrette Blount left Friday's practice, and was having his right knee looked at by the team's training staff. He was hurt on a running play when an offensive lineman appeared to be blocked into him."

Hmmm. DGB was abusing the 27th ranked defense in camp. Interesting. :dhd:

The Jaguars are expected to use two-tight end "12" personnel "so much it might be their base grouping."
In a major departure from last year's Jedd Fisch-coordinated three-receiver offense, Marcedes Lewis and Julius Thomas would be near-full-time players, with only two wide receivers on the field and RB T.J. Yeldon. With Allen Hurns consistently staying ahead of injury-riddled Marqise Lee, Hurns is positioned to be an every-down regular on offense. Per the Florida Times-Union, Hurns and Allen Robinson have been "in a dead heat" for the best receiver in camp.

Gee there's a shocker. With only Hurns, Robinson and Lee, all of which ideally suited for #2 &#3 roles, and two very good receiving TE's, who didn't see that coming?

With a subpar (yet with plenty of potential) QB, no true threat on the outside, and two TE's on the field, the middle of the field is going to be full of defenders. Very bad news for Yeldon/Gerhert/Shoelace. The first two don't have either the speed and quickness to elude defenders, nor the power to break a whole lot of tackles. And Shoelace can't break arm tackles. Gonna be another long year offensively in JAX...they've got to get a serious WR, and Bortles has to become a legit QB for any of it to work

whats funny is, when they drafted yeldon , the team annointed him the starter publicly immediately.......they couldnt of been very happy with their other options

Think that was a huge mistake, at the least make it an open competition. Most scouts anonymously agreed, that Yeldon wasn't suited to be a lead back and probably doesn't have the power to be a short yardage specialist either. A long term backup, just like Gerhert ended up being.

i agree with you. i could be wrong. But seems like alot of other on this board really like yeldon, dunno whether its because he is a rookie, who went to an SEC school and was publicly praised by the organization, or they actually saw him play, and read up on him.

Yeldon underperformed his last year at Bama, and was slated to be a mid to late round pick until the jags snagged him.....reports werent stellar about him........

Sources Tell Us
"For being a creative back, he has no juice to get away from anyone. He's a rotational back. I wouldn't take him any sooner than the 5th (round) because you can find guys like that all over the place." - NFC running backs coach
NFL Comparison
Terrance West

IN OUR VIEW: A ballcarrier with natural ability to do things most athletes can't, Yeldon is "Mr. Smooth" with his agility and movement skills (almost like he floats), making defenders miss all over the field with his shifty feet and redirection ability. He tends to hesitate a tick too long at times and needs to be more decisive instead of waiting for plays to develop, taking too much time reading blocks and defenders - the NFL has too much speed for him to get away with this (just ask Trent Richardson). Although he is capable of running between the tackles, Yeldon is much better in space and at the second level, projecting best as a complimentary weapon on offense with his promise as a pass catcher and pass protector - well-equipped to make an immediate impact for a running back-by-committee system as a glorified third down option.

Nelson Agholor, WR, Eagles

Nelson Agholor, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, hasn't shown the coaching staff that he's worthy of a starting job yet. Agholor is being way overdrafted. Let someone else take him in your league.

DavidCobb_face.jpg
David Cobb, RB, Titans
down.jpg

David Cobb hasn't impressed thus far in training camp. He has struggled as a runner, and he hasn't been good in pass protection either. Bishop Sankey appears to be the heavy favorite to start for Tennessee.

CPolk_face.jpg
Chris Polk, RB, Texans
up.jpg

Chris Polk was out with a hamstring, but he's back in action. Bill O'Brien was telling the media that Polk can play all three downs. He's a legitimate candidate to start for Houston.
