Again, quit looking at "the stats". Statistically Fielder and Beltre are much better than what they're showing right now.

Venable hits about .220 against lefties. Not good.
DDJ is hitting .000 against lefties over the last 2 weeks.

.220 gives you a small chance. DDJ can't hit anyone right now.

If we are going anywhere this season, we will need Prince and Fielder to work through this. DDJ has been a catalyst. It is all about adjustments. They have adjusted to Prince and he has to as well

Are you wanting to bench these guys for a while? If so I think that is foolish. I am not an über stat geek but yes we must consider stats

I didn't say a while, I said tomorrow. I know we need them, but letting them go up there night after night and just hack away at garbage pitches is not fixing anything. A day or maybe two off might be worth a try to get them some rest and allow them to re-focus.

I am hoping DDJ as well. I agree it was a quicker compact swing. Since his HR he has not swung the bat as well. He has to perform his role which is not a HR hitter

We need to be scoring around 5 runs per game to win a majority of games. We left a lot of men on base tonight. I am hoping Cheech has a lot of wiggle on his pitches. If we win tomorrow, we can regain some momentum going ahead. Astros are and feel snakebit on the road. They are reeling

All MLB throwing their array of LHP at us no matter the quality. We just don't have it figured out just ye and make them all look better than they are. Really need Rua to play his game and contribute. Big games ahead. Need a win today to keep pace as we have tough pitching matchups ahead. Of course we have good pitching ahead too. 5 runs will win most of these games
