I can't decide who looks worse, Beltre or Fielder.

These two have had guys in scoring position over and over the past week and have failed every time except the 2 run hit by Beltre.

When it gets this bad Im not sure you even worry about match ups. Just put someone in that has a chance, and right now DDJ, Beltre and Fielder have no chance whatsoever

Another big part of our problem is that we have very little HR power. And if you can't hit HR, that means you have to string together 3, 4, or 5 hits in a row to do any kind of damage. And with half of our team totally lost at the plate right now, that's not going to happen.

HR's mask a LOT of offensive deficiencies. You can get 3-hit by a pitcher, but if those 3 hits are HR's, you'll probably win.

Again, quit looking at "the stats". Statistically Fielder and Beltre are much better than what they're showing right now.

Venable hits about .220 against lefties. Not good.
DDJ is hitting .000 against lefties over the last 2 weeks.

.220 gives you a small chance. DDJ can't hit anyone right now.
