I keep thinking about having to play defense behind Gallardo, that would suck! He's slow to begin with and then he always throws 90-100 pitches in less than 5 innings

Couldn't disagree more. What good is it to have a pitcher with an era over 5 and a losing record. Gallardo is the only starting pitcher who shut down Toronto twice and Seattle in this last series. This is not the Perez of last year. At least not yet. We are quick to jump on Gallardo more than any other starter.

But Beltre, Fielder, Wilson, DDJ, Strausborger, Stubbs, Gallo, and now it appears Rua too are all worthless. And by worthless I mean they can't get a single solitary hit. Not one.
