He says the O-line is struggling. Should be good news for Valentine, Collins, and McMullen. But it sounds like Nebraska's O-line.
Skill positions, BYU has plenty. Again, sounds like Nebraska.
Defense? Uh oh. Does not sound like Nebraska. Inexperienced. Nebraska has an experienced defense. The D-line and D backs are solid or better.
Red Zone Defense BYU = 70, Nebraska = 50
He doesn't mention the BYU Special Teams though.
Net Punting BYU = 10, Nebraska = 70
Punt Returns BYU = 67, Nebraska = 5
Kick Returns BYU = 90, Nebraska = 63
BYU 12-14 on FG, Nebraska 15-22 on fiield goals BYU kicker graduated
BYU was penalized a LOT. Almost last in that category. Nebraska was 54
BYU has the same coach and Taysom Hill is back.
Nebraska has a new coach and new philosophy. No key player was really gone unless you go with Michael Rose Ivey
The unknown factor is maturity level since a lot of their players did two year missions, a lot of Nebraska's players are not old enough to drink.
I like Nebraska's chances.
