Isn't Wonder Woman supposed to be an amazon? Gadot is more Call of Duty and Fast n Furious than Wonder Woman imo but I haven't seen the movie so maybe she pulls it off.

Linda seems nicer and down to earth. Like someone who would gladly have a conversation with you. The hot girl that runs for class President in high school and wins.

Gadot is the loner chick who drops out of high school, joins the army, kicks butt for a few years and then runs a bar turning down all men who come her way.

Seems like a very odd casting. Like Vin Diesel to play James Bond.

Gal Gadot is great during every moment she's not speaking. Unfortunately, it's crystal clear they tried to do their best to accommodate this.

That was my complaint when she was cast. She's def not an amazon.

The funny thing is when you cast for WW I kinda imagine someone who you'd also want to pull off a character like Xena.

I think Gal Gadot is more believable as an Amazon Warrior than D-Cup Linda Carter. Amazon women aren't supposed to be busty they're supposed to be lean fit warriors and I think Gadot fits that ok if she continues to put on muscle.

WW is busty in the comics but even then that's not what "true" amazon warriors are supposed to look like. DC seems to be on this super realistic kick and Gal Gadot is actually the closest true representation we've seen if not a bit skinnier than she should be. But as long as she stays committed to the role and keeps working out and putting on muscle then I'm fine with her.

Hell I was one of those people who questioned the casting when it was announced because she seemed too much like a model to play WW. However when I saw pictures of her in the gym multiple times per week and taking the role seriously instead of just using it to further her career she won me over.

They wanted a $150M budget for a film about a Cajun thief who throws cards. When F4 crashed and burned, losing Fox a ton of money, then when Deadpool made truckloads of cash on a $30+M budget, they had to rethink such a dumb business decision.

The guy they had from xmen origins was perfect. Had the look too.
