So, Eternals will star Robb Stark, Jon Snow, and "Cersei" (Sersi)!

Furthermore, in their last shared scene in Game of Thrones, as Jon set off to join the Night's Watch, Robb told Jon, "Next time I see you, you'll be all in black" -- and now Kit Harington is playing Black Knight!

I hope they throw in some "My queen" or "I don't want it!" Jon Snow jokes.

Yeah, it's definitely very cool, and I am looking forward so much to Fantastic Four, but I didn't mention it because, unlike the Eternals footage, it's not anything actually new, since Marvel already announced Fantastic Four and released that logo earlier.

I’ll see it, but I fear my interest in the MCU will diminish in phase 4 and forward. Not a huge fan of the mystical side of comics.

There are a lot of things in the MCU and in world history thats hard to come to terms with if you're doing the whole 'we've been here the whole time and we've done nothing - but we're good'

More importantly - who watches Game of Thrones and thinks 'man, the two actors I need are Richard Madden and Kit Harington.'

What have you got abohts Madden and Harrington? They fit the age range and talent needed here plus they have some good recognition

I guess we'll find out. Carrying a superhero movie is hard and very few actors have the chops for it but every once in awhile I do get pleasantly surprised.

The really interesting thing here is thats a really large cast for an origins movie. If this wasn't like the 30th movie they've done Id be really skeptical but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll be able to do this. The thing about a large cast show like Game of Thrones is that a season is like 10 episodes so you have plenty of time for character development. I do know nothing about Eternals, though, so some of these characters might not be all that complex or (ironically) have long lifespans.

It's probably gonna suck until they start getting Fantastic Four and later on, X-men. Though Shang-Chi looks pretty dope as a kung fu movie

Maybe I'm not that picky but the only MCU movie that outright sucks imo is Iron Man 3.

The only thing that has me worried is that the new Mulan was awful and its pretty clear that Hollywood now is making movies weighing the US and China equally. Hopefully US and China keeps the marriage going. Its not much of a competition. You guys get your belt and road and we'll give you some stupidly high budget ambitious movies.

I don't think they are being asked to carry it. I mean they also have Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie in the cast...so I don't think Madden and Harrington are carrying it.

They have a bunch of known but not super known actors and actresses playing roles and I think Harrington and Madden fit in perfectly.

I mean, they took the Kumail Nanjiani from Silicon Valley...who got super beefed up for it...he's known, but he isn't carrying the movie.

Have you seen it anytime recently? I think it's actually better than it was received initially, and a nice change of pace looking at Tony's personal PTSD struggles. The Mandarin stuff still sucks, but I like the rest of it a lot more than I did when it came out.

For me, Thor 2 is the only real stinker in the MCU. Some others are a bit dull and only worth 1 watch, but The Dark World sucks.

The Mandarin stuff has been retconned pretty well with the Trevor Slattery one-shot and with Sheng-Chi.

Also, in the fighting pits that we see in Sheng-Chi, there are some powered people that Killian created in the background.
