hey- you cant say LeBron and Bosh joining WAde is an "established team"--- and then say Allen and Garnett joining Pierce is not. That would be quite hypocritical....just asking your opinion- but apparently i already knew the answer

The Celtics instantly became a title contender when they brought in KG and Allen. So if you want to call that established or some other adjective, knock yourself out. Same applies to the Heat.

in both situations- neither team was a candidate to do anything major until those players got there----

He'll care if people see him as title chasing - hypothetical scenario that will never happen - but if he went to the Warriors, he'd get shredded. At that point the Jordan comparisons would come to an abrupt halt. So yes, in theory, he still does care. That's why the 76ers losing in the 2nd round in the fashion that they did was a potential blessing - because Lebron won't be seen as title chasing if he went to that potential destination.

While he won't be going to the Warriors, I honestly don't think that James would care if he were criticized for moving teams. Time softens the edges of criticism. So while plenty of people would blast him for going to the Rockets, if he wound up winning 2 or 3 titles with them, no one would care 10 years later.

The biggest risk, IMO, for James in doing that is that he will be absolutely crucified if they DON'T win a bunch of titles.

The Warriors have nothing to prove & the Rockets have everything to prove. I think this is a big game 1 for Houston. And yeah I don't think tonight's game will be a blowout like last nights. Not that I'm complaining! Actually I was surprised what the Celtics did to the Cavs. Hope they can take a 2-0 lead back to Cleveland.

So what? He was going to the team that was immediately the presumptive favorites to get to the finals if not win the finals. So to argue that he wasn't going to an established team, whatever that means, is just silly.

This will be the best defensive team the C’s will play. Philly and Milwaukee are average at defense. Bu ks pretty good. No question Tatum and Brown have potential but they aren’t better than KLove. Love is streaky at times, his only downfall.
