Paul George is good, Id even be worried about our matchups with West, maybe even Hansborough because he hustles and does little things, but to fear Hibbert? Come on..

The Pacers need to fear the BIRDMAN... (see, now doesnt that sound silly)

I won't argue with you guys. I will just wait until Hibbert dominates the paint again and then we'll see.

We'll just wait until Lebron, Bosh, DWade, Ray Allen, and Birdman dominate the Pacers. See what I did there?

And they also have the #19 Pick.

If I'm Cleveland I am calling Minnesota and offering them 2 deals for Kevin Love.

1) # 1 Overall Pick and Anderson Vareoj for Love

2) #1 overall pick # 19 overall pick for Love (not sure if this one will work)

I'm not a big fan of that Noels kid from Kentucky as a #1 pick especially since he's coming off an ACL injury and won't be ready until Christmas. They should really try to trade the pick but if they decide to keep it I'll pick Otto Porter from Georgetown.

If they keep the pick I don't see them making the playoffs. I think Washington (if healthy) and Toronto will replace Milwaukee & Boston/Atlanta in the playoffs next season

Anyway the wait is just about over for us....Hoping they come out nearly as rusty as they did in G1 of the Bulls series.

FIFY. I agree, I'm anxious to get this series started.

I think you guys are in for a lot more than you have bargained for. I see the Heat winning this series but Indiana will give them a run for their money.

First sensible thing you've said. And don't worry, this fanbase (those on these boards) aren't looking at Indiana in the same light as Milwaukee and Chicago. It will definitely be a grinding series.

Everything I've said is "sensible" just not to you because you are biased.

I agree Indiana will be a tough challenge and will give us some fits. i agree tht Miami will win this series, but I dont agree that its Hibbert that Miami should fear... If its going to be anyone its going to be Paul George...

Miami is not going to come out rusty like they did Chicago, they know that you cant allow another team to come in and steal one in the ECF.

Prediction- Hibbert goes for under 15 pts and under 10 rebounds

LBJ has a triple double. and Battier is going to be a big spark off the bench with 13 pts.

If Paul George play as badly as he did in the Knicks series, this will be a very short series. Hibbert will be a factor on offense but not much of a factor on defense as he was in the Knicks series because unlike Chandler who can only dunk the basketball, Bosh can draw him out of the paint and hit those mid range J's all game

i dont see this series as a big deal. indiana is a good team, but when you have unquestionably the best 3 players in the series on one team.. it makes for short series.

Grizzlies and Spurs have players that could be argued are #2 and #3 in the series vs Heat.. Im not saying I buy the argument, but it could very easily be made. The Pacers dont. At best they have #4 maybe #5.. but after that it gets convoluted. Pacers play well together, they seem to play above their expectations. They just arent anywhere near Miami's level. Heat in 5.

Finally game-day. Lets see what the day brings. Lets see if the Heat have put an extended rest to better use than they did last series.

As for the Cavs winning the lottery - I bet who ever they pick, will end up either being a bust or leaving Cleveland alongside Kyrie within a 4-5 years

Some time off. At Miami. Indy playing good D.

It's up for grabs (game 1). Defense wins championships though.

We shall see.

On twitter, someone asked Ira about lineup changes for this series - Which at this point is really stupid and annoying to be asking about - Of course, the question was about whether or not Shane would start - Ira responded by saying "I am a bit curious, to tell the truth.”

Not sure why we are still debating this - why people still are hoping to see him start. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it... That, along with the fact that he just doesnt belong as a starter as has been proven too many times - His inconsistencies thus far in the playoffs strengthen that fact. He needs to stay coming off the bench. He already plays more than he should coming off the bench - No reason to keep reaching.

A fan who seems to have some brains responded by saying “ Going small will only make Indiana’s strength, which is post play- even stronger. dangerous change at this point”

As I have said many times, playing Shane and using him in the manner the team does borders on suicidal - The Pacers already play us tough to begin with, their strength is our weakness - So, why maximize a negative by starting someone that has proven to be a liability when put in such position.

Just do not understand why there is even a question as to who starts for us in this series or down the line - Our 5 starters should remain as is barring injuries.

A part of me wants to see him start, which will more than likely lead to a Heat loss but what people here will do is give him a pass while trying to place elsewhere ignoring the facts.

We shall see.

And so - The mystery is over... The same inactives as always and the same starting lineup - If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it... Heat win on the horizon
