Glad to see the refs get on Lebon last night. To bad the refs will be back on his side in Miami..

The refs weren't that bad in this game. Lebron's fouls were definitely questionable. The guy got 5 fouls in only 13 minutes of game time. Probably a blessing in disguise - he should be plenty rested for game 6. I can honestly say that I hate Stephenson more than I dislike KG, Rondo, and Pierce. At least the latter 3 act like professionals to some degree. Stephenson is just trying to be another Rodman, as trojan pointed out.

No dog in this fight for me, (old Laker fan) but I like Stephenson's spunk...I have to agree with you on BOS though...I had no issues with KG or Pierce before they went to BOS and that goes back to the Jojo White days..just never liked the Celtics.

I don't believe any NBA games have been fixed or somehow predetermined, but I do think refs made a concerted effort to call fouls on Lebron last night...on the 5th foul...it was a foul imo, but it could've easily have been called on Stephensen.

NBA has a history of fixing games.

Has the NBA released a statement on that game yet?

I do not care if a game gets fixed here and there, I want to know why. If the league is doing it I hate that, if Vegas or the refs do it with bets on the line I accept that more.

I get all of that, but the Heat still cost themselves the game.

How about the bonehead play at the end of the 3rd qtr?
How about the overall stupid play the entire 3 rd qtr?
If Bosh hits the last shot, Heat still win..

And George stepped up big time the entire 4 th qtr and was the best player on the court.

And the end, that was the difference.

LBJ played 2 minutes in the 3rd iirc thanks to 1 actual foul and 1 phantom foul. I think the 3rd quarter play probably would have been elevated if LBJ was allowed to play in it.

The shocking thing is that they still had a shot to win it on a last second 3 by Bosh, but to say that the refs didn't cost MIA the game is wrong.

I thought about this, league should fine him $10 for sexual harassment and conduct unbecoming of an adult and cite the ear blow and huddle incident respectively.

He should be fined the normal amount for his flopping if the league decides that he was flopping.

I blame the refs when it was 8 on 5 and it clearly was.

It seems most want to live in this world that PEDs and fixed games don't happen, I assure you that is not the case.

We all have certain things we are willing to overlook. Outside forces fixing games occasionally is something I can overlook. The league fixing games is something I can't. IMO they have an obligation to provide fair competition, I don't think handicapping the superior team is competitive fairness.

To answer your question I am not bitching but analyzing it for my own piece of mind but if the league makes a statement on it that I agree with I will believe they are on the side of competitive fairness as long as they continue to take steps to correct it. Anything but that and I will consider the NBA to have more in common with the WWE than a professional sport and will lose interest other than to bet on it.

Miami came back and tied it with plenty of time so once you tie it with LeBron back in you can no longer blame the refs. Indy won because paul george was absolutely on fire in the 4th

I don't care that they use PEDs, I also don't care if the occasional game is fixed.

If it turns out this is a ballet more than sports I won't be watching. I enjoy watching ballet, but don't tell me it's basketball.

That's like blowing up a bridge and saying ok, here's a car, if you can cross the river you win. Sure it is possible but realistic?

Foul trouble forces a player to change the way they play, the bridge is LBJs aggression, the car is his shoes, and the river is IND and the refs.
