Game Thread: Eastern Conference Finals: Miami Heat VS Indiana Pacers

How many teams have been to the finals 4 times in a row? Not going to be as easy as you make it sound like

Where did I say anything would be easy?

My ONLY prediction was that we don't lose 4 games in Indy this series?
I never said Indy can't win in Miami. I said they will need to.
The Heat haven't look like championship material for quite a while now if James doesn't try to dominate start to finish.

They rely way to much on the 3 which is always a low %, dangerous game to play.

Miami played bad also but it is hard to win when a team is +22 on free throws. Indy had more fts in the 3rd quarter than Miami had for the entire game

To win a game when you're -24 in free throws attempts you basically need just about everything to go right for you and everything to go wrong for Indy

I'll ask again.....when is 5/13 a good shooting night for a 7'2 center? The guy played like shit when he wasn't gifted free throws and bogus foul calls on the miami players. The heat would love it if he shoots 38 percent every game of the series because he's not getting 13 free throw attempts nightly.

You see, the thing is, when he was playing like shit, he was having 0-5 point games, with 0-4 rebounds. You claim he was playing like shit today, but he still got 19 points. I don't care if it was a lt of FT's for him, he still got the points and was aggressive enough to get them. Remember, when he was playing like shit, he wasn't aggressive at all.

This stat is exactly why Heat fans shouldn't be worried

Sometimes, stats lie. SportVU says that Heat took 18 more uncontested shots than Pacers, and 7 fewer contested ones.

In other words Miami offense was good and guys just missed open looks while Miami defense wasn't as bad as it seems but Indy were just on fire just as Brooklyn was in game 3 of the 2nd round vs Miami.
