that seems about right to me. I think our offense won't have a problem, but how long is the 1st team really going to play? it really comes down to the defense. I'm thinking something like 42-17, which wouldn't beat the spread.

I think part of the reason Vegas sets those enticing lines for big Nebraska games is so many Husker fans including myself just blindly bet on them.

Remember last year he had Arky St beating the Huskers.

I'll be more concerned with Southern Miss than Wyoming. Southern Miss has good talent. That 0-12 last year was a first year head coach with a young team that played Louisville to 17-21 and UCF to 31-38 (OT).

Against Nebraska they were tied 14-14 in the 2nd Q, and then behind 17-21 with under 2 minutes in the 2nd Q.

Nebraska had no turnovers and only 2 penalties for 30 yds that day.

Remember that Southern Miss game was supposed to be in Hattiesburg, MS, then moved to Kansas City, then moved again to Lincoln. The last time Southern Miss was talked into giving up a home game to play at their opponents field, they upset Florida St. in Tallahassee.

UCLA comes to town the next week so I hope NU doesn't overlook USM.

One of my best buds lost his ass betting against them vs Fla St in the 1994 (1993 season) national title game. FSU was favored by 17 or 18 pts, but only won by 2. Lose/Lose.

I was watching the game with him and he was a wreck. He don't bet for/against Nebraska no mo.
