You're probably only getting the standard 720p feed that all sports are broadcasted in.

If you watch the game on FOX using just your OTA antenna (which will give you the best picture quality possible due to zero compression of signal), it's still only 720p but your TV will upscale it to 4K better than any compressed app/cable/satellite feed.
