Getting to the SB? Absolutely.
Winning it? Meh.

This might be the weakest NFC we have seen in some time. If the playoffs started now the NFC QB’s would be Purdy, Cousins, a 45 Brady with an injury-riddled team, Heinecke, Daniel Jones and Dak. Outside looking in…Geno Smith and Jared Goff.

As the sayings go, "good teams find ways to win" and "bad teams beat themselves". I don't believe the Eagles or Commanders are either really.
Cool. You can debate with 12-1.

Eagles look good so far but if we're being realistic the odds are clearly against them.

Field.

Anything can happen during the season and especially in the Playoffs.

Always any team vs field. Take the field

A lot less than people think given the backup is Minshew. They'd still be the best team in the NFC. They'd still be stacked offensively. If you want to pick the next "Nick Foles" it's probably Minshew.

One of their main competitors in the NFC Is starting Purdy atm. The other is marooned in their own division as a WC unless the Eagles step on their own dicks twice. The Vikings are completely fraudulent.

Other teams like the Commanders, Giants, Seahawks, and Bucs, are mediocre and/or are deeply unserious.
He’s not the next Nick Foles, he’s the next Joe Montana.

Let's be generous.

85% chance they beat the Cowboys or whoever in the divisional round.

If they do that, 80% chance they win the conference title.

If they do that, 60% chance they win the Super Bowl.

That comes out to 40%.

I'd say they're the favorite, but I'd still take the field.

There is no way the Eagles are winning the Super Bowl. The 49ers will likely be representing the NFC anyway.

The Bills and Chiefs could plausibly be favored or a pick'em on a neutral field. Eagles are nowhere close to being that level of dominant. Field is an easy choice even in a shallow NFC.
I have to disagree on the level of dominate play. Eagles/Chiefs are pretty close on the playing field. Both teams can move up and down the field, both teams can score at will and I will say KC has the better ST's. This game is a toss up on neutral site.

If healthy KC has good ST. Chiefs special teams is responsible for the Colts loss and Butker did miss a kick against Cincinnati

Eagles ST's hasn't been very good this year but I didn't realize KC ST's costed them a win.

Chiefs ST have been as bad as their pass defense. That said, if Skyy Moore isn't returning kicks and Butler is healthy then it should be solid

Skyy Moore has been a disappointment. I thought he'd fit right in with Ty Hill leaving.

He has been so bad I wouldn't be shocked if he was cut next year. He has been easily the worst Chiefs player this year

It's tough cutting a 2nd rounder after 1 season so I think they give him one more chance to prove his worth. If he's the same next season then he'll get cut.

Oh, I agree. IIRC he is responsible for 2 (3?) lost punt returns and involved in 3 interceptions. The NFL has clearly been too big of a stage for him so far and he has barely gotten any targets.
