Imagine going to a Superbowl being cheaper (inflation factored in) being cheaper than going to see a random regular season game today.

I went to the Giants vs Bills SB in TB in 91 and Redskins vs Bills in Minn in 92 and face value on my tickets was $150 each. I had someone offer me $2500 for the pair of tickets for SB 25 and I contemplated selling them, crazy how the prices have soared

I was a season ticket holder from 1987 to 2006. My first year, the total price for 4 seats for the season was just under $500.
Those same 4 seats now cost close to $500 for one game.

When the Bills went to the Super Bowl, I had the option to enter a lottery to purchase tickets at face value. One year I won, and sold 2 tickets for $500 each.

It is absolutley crazy.......

Only way I would ever pay that,is if my grandson was playing......then Id make him pay for it with the money these athletes make......

Price gouging at its finest.

I've never been to a super bowl but a friend of mine has been to a lot, not recently, and that's because of the price but it's what he loved to do. Some people love skiing and save for an expensive vacation but he liked the Super Bowl. He said it's way too expensive anymore.
I think the only high-profile games I attended in football were a few early playoff games and the Sugar Bowl,oh and the Catholics v Creminoles 93 game. IDK why but I have no real desire to go .

The first SB, because of the Gulf War, took a few hrs to get into stadium because of security. Best part was the seat cushions that were filled with great football cards and SB pendants. I never collected so I gave them away

After the player and employee requirements, the cowboys offered tickets at face value to some vendors. I was in a position to grab two.

SB 27...Rose Bowl, Michael Jackson.

end zone for $ 175 each or tenth row from the top on the 40 yard line Cowboy bench side for $250 each. We went for $500 and had a great time.

Dad decided to take us the Tuesday before the game to SB5 in Miami. Bought 4 tickets and he had options.
End zone were $15 but he bumped up to the 5 yard line 20 rows up for $25 each. Man was I bummed after that game.
