Exactly right. Never had a season close to what Gronk had
either, in fact his best season isn't much better then Gronk worse season. Not exactly the kind of player you expect on a team building thru youth and upside.

Well asking for Cook quickly reminded me why I rarely trade for a TE. I just don't value them as much as some folks do. Seemed like we were way to far apart to come to a agreement.
Also didn't sound like a fire sale to me.

ok, apologies for saying firesale apparently ppl r up in arms. meanwhile i had a few offers that i didn't like. the only one that even made me think was treff n he still has me thinking

Well I know my offer wasn't great, fully expected you to decline, your counter left me feeling cold though, was hoping for something more reasonable. It's just seems that when someone asks for trade offers, what they are really hoping for is a steal of a deal for themselves. Probably being to critical here but it's something I've observed with these " send me trade offers" posts, rarely do I see trade happen because nothing has changed really, posters are still aren't ready to look at the down side of their players ( like Eifert being a injury machine) instead they hold steady to looking at the optimistic view, like " but this year he'll stay healthy and kick ass ".
However I enjoy the chatter nevertheless, even if it leads nowhere. No harm whatsoever.
