Is he the same guy you traded Matt Jones and Sanders for Howard and DeMarco Murry? It cuts both ways at times. Some times offers depends on what you have to offer, the less you got, the more value you place on whats left on your roster.

I made Chef an awful offer or two this winter.

One I think I forgot to add a guy, the other was just shameful.

Oh I've made some bad offers for sure, plenty of them. You know when your making offers, sometimes you just delude yourself on a players worth on your roster momentarily, then afterwards you think what was I thinking, but to late. Other times you feel it's a weak offer, but it's all you can afford, still want to give it a shot because you never know.

I like to hold myself to the standard of "why would the other guy do this deal?"

Ive dropped the ball on that step before.

If your trying to trade for Howard, I highly doubt Chef is tempted. If your trying to trade for the first maybe.

Ah yes you must be referring to the 55 point Monday night miracle comeback against Milk. He probably still hasn't forgiven me for that. The rest of the year was a nightmare though. That's always been my problem with having two good backs on the same team. It's great if one of them gets hurt and it's a freaking nightmare if they both stay healthy.

Well, I've got to say we've gotten some really poor offers as well. However, we won't be posting them and offend anyone. ....
