Lee lead the league in double doubles if I am not mistaken. What he lacks in athleticism he makes up for with heady plays. I think he is underrated. He would make OKC or any other team thats right there a legit contender.

He rebounds very well. He scores efficiently and he passes well too. He is still one of the worst defenders in the league though. The Warriors didn't skip a beat without him in the playoffs because he is horribly overrated. If the Thunder traded Ibaka for Lee all other things equal, the Warriors would be top 3 in the West and Thunder would go from being a legit contender to being 4th best in the West.

There is a reason why not many teams pursued Lee after his first 2 breakout years in New York. His skill set has not really changed.

At this point in their careers K-Mart is better than Thompson. Thompson has some serious upside but I dont think he will ever reach superstar status.

You might be right, but I think I would rather have Thompson because of his youth.

The problem with Lee is his defense....I do agree with you that he would make OKC a legit contender because that is the one thing they're missing is a big who can do work down low. Ibaka is pretty much a role player who can hit a mid range J.

Ibaka is one of the best rim protectors in the league. He isn't as good as Lee offensively, but a lot more valuable overall IMO.

And on offense he is nothing special. If they had Lee instead of Perkins and used Ibaka at C, they would of beating Memphis in the 2nd round without Westbrook.

I'm not saying Ibaka is bad but he just isn't a good 3rd option for that team. Perk needs to go.

:agree: Perk is done. Lee and Ibaka would be small, but that would be a great frontline. Ibaka would be able to cover up for a lot of Lee's deficiency.

Kevin Martin is a good comparison but Martin doesn't play D. Thompson plays very good D. also nobody is expecting Thompson to be a superstar he's a very good SG though. I would take Thompson over Martin anyday

You DO NOT trade a superstar for a role player.

And BK I don't understand you're hate to the warriors? Thompson is more than a half decent player LOl. Also that one season when monta was playing doesn't count as 2. His first full season was this year. He has takin big strides

I actually like the Warriors. Thompson is a great shooter and that's about it on offense.

Point is when you're trading a superstar for another player, you better be getting more than a role player in return.

Houston isn't playing. They brought Harden, Clyde Drexler, Yao Ming, Hakeem, and Dikembe to their meeting with Dwight.

Houston area rapper Slim Thug making a Twitter or Tweeter (or whatever that stupid thing is called) pitch to Dwight Howard.
