Could the Lions implement a stratedgy? Draft Manziel, then trade Stafford for 2 1st round picks next year? Just a thought.

I like Johnny Manzel but would be pissed with a QB.

I can't help but think of Bartles & James wine coolers when Bortles is mentioned.

I don't like Johnny Football, but I wouldn't be pissed one bit. I see plenty around here that want a LB, that linebacker would be depth. I can handle depth at a position of disappointment. Like last year when Slay was drafted in the second.

Really I see Palmer and Whitehead more as special teams guys and 2nd stingers.

I think Mack gives the Lions a true stud PLB in forever. The guy has speed and led the country for tackles for loss. Blitz him, and with Ansah, Suh, Fairley you have a front seven that makes the DBs look good.

But he is the pick I want to see. Lions may go WR. IMO with CJ a 2nd rounder makes more sense but Mayhew hasn't had much success with WRs in the second round.

A RB would be okay if they can find one that understands that the football itself is the focal point of the game, and that holding on to it is pretty important.

1. Slot receiver
2. Lock-down corner

Sammy Watkins won't fall to us. Dennard may fall to us. Evans is great but do we need another 6'5" WR...one that displayed some signs of behavioral issues in the bowl game?

A) Move up
B) Get the BPA
C) Move down and land Lee (best value here)

If your drafting at the 10th spot, why settle for a slot WR?, get the go to guy and really stretch the field.

I'm cool with Dennard simply because he plays DB and has the name Dennard......I hear he's fast.......

Denanard, Dix, Best WR are all good picks......LBs to me are like OL, they can be found in later rounds.

Let me clarify that, LBs are like Guards......They can be found in later rounds....Hence Warford.

I agree somewhat. Offensive line should be the easiest are of a team to fill with later round picks. This franchise however does not agree with me. Not at all.

A great slot receiver is worth a mid-late 1st round pick these days. Lee could line-up in a number of areas. He has very good hands, quickness and speed.

Manziel should go no.1 overall to the Texans, seems like a no brainer. If they take Bridgewater, they're nuts. If they take Clowney, the Rams should spend about half a second handing the card in for Johnny Football. How many times can the new regime pass on replacing the old regime's mistake of drafting Sam Bradford?

I see Bradford's future as brighter than Footballs. I'd trade that second pick if I were Saint Louie. But Im me, and I always want teams to trade their top picks rather than draft some QB.

Fuck No! He's the third best receiver in the draft if you want to look at it that way. I see future guy a fanbase hates written all over him. But that's only based off what I've seen. Which is a lot of dropped passes and a hissy fit or two.

I like the QB from UCF, Blake Bortles.

Watched the entire game against Baylor. Yes, it's only one game, but he didn't look all that impressive. His long TD passes came on a 5-10 yd throw that the WR took the rest of the way. He just did not look like a starting caliber NFL QB, imho.

Draft a DT. I would like to see Suh as a lead blocker.
