You think he goes earlier than 5th?

He has just as much potential if not more due to his better run fits than does Cox but a much greater value should he be drafted anywhere during the day 3, imo.

Two of my favorite OLB/Edge rusher
Both have good eye recognition, burst, lateral speed, can shed a block in the trash and still make the tackle whether in the backfield or LOS. In each of their tapes they also have shown the ability to drop in space and gives pursuit quite a ways down field. Their motors run hot and will only get better with a higher level of coaching. High floor and the potential for a much higher ceiling with the right coaching.

Janarius Robinson #11 .............................. 6'5 266 ......... 87" wingspan ......... 35 3/4" arms ......... 11" hands

Jayson Oweh #28 .............................. 6'5 255 .......... He's young but he and Robinson both have quick processors

Really like Robinson.

Kiper latest mock has us trading the 7 for the 12, a second, and a future pick. At 12 we take Parsons

Whoa, seriously ?

Makes me nervous because he had Hock and Okudah pegged all along. (laughing at you BB_72 for even mentioning that)

I'd be down with that even though it may read as a flip flop artist - again

One caveat to that selection.

I'm finding a way to draft Hybrid hang S/LB Owusu-Koramaoh should he drop into the early - mid twenties and a team is willing to deal.

Both of those plus the 5th year option rookie buys me time through 2025 to build that defense in the middle and back end.

Still would draft your Wallow in the 5th too.

I am down for a trade back no matter what. Lions need all the draft assets they can get. I am all for moving back and building for the future. He has Owusu-Koramaoh going to Miami at 18.

I don't have a particular pick in mind, but a trade back and taking a defender would be a win in my mind.

This years DE/Edge Rushers I'm somewhat skeptical of but I think you could still get one in the 3rd or 4th that'd be value picks - plus, @Stomp DT, Twyman, might still be there in 3rd round (he opted out and only has 1 year true starting. That could drop him. possibly.

Is that Kiper mock on their pay-wall only ?

low and behold an article that, written today, discusses some trepidations I've had regarding Parsons. It's his somewhat questionable coverage abilities. I didn't see many difficulties in shallow zones - between the hashes - It was once he's trailing a RB, TE, WR outside the hashes I'm concerned with.

Oh my. Frisco going after Fields.

Okay, that makes sense for the 1st, 2nd and future pick.

Mac Jones, Landon Dickerson and Walker Little really jump out at me when Im looking at where I have them. Atlanta trading up also seems weird.

I do not see DeVonta Smith being drafted in the top 10 or even top 15. I would think Miami would pull the trigger at No.18 should he fall.

I, personally, have nothing against DeVonta because he held up against SEC CB, S, LB (all NFL body size type for 4 years without a significant injury) but his size would definitely give me some pause.

Mac Jones not only top 10, but ahead of Lance seems like a long shot to me.
A GM is upset with Teddy Bridgewater's upside so he goes out and drafts an out-of-shape college QB that was carried by great receivers. The mental gymnastics needed to believe that are pretty astounding.

Vegas drafting S Moehrig while Kwity Paye is available appears unrealistic. They need edge rushers in a big way. That drafting of Clelin Ferrell at 4 in 2019 isn't looking good and neither was their 3rd first round selection of S Abram in that same draft.

Definitely some odd selections.
