Robert Saleh signed a 5 year deal with the JETS.

Also, New League Year begins March 17th and the NFL is giving under-classmen until March 1st to declare.

The Lions currently have approximately 11.6M in current cap space and that doesn't include draft picks. It's in accordance to what they expect the new league year estimated max cap.

• Feb. 23 - March 9: Franchise/Transition Player Designation Period
• March 17: 2021 league year begins
• April 5: Start of offseason workouts for teams with new head coaches
• April 19: Start of offseason workouts for teams with incumbent coaches
• April 23: Last day of restricted free agent signing period
• April 28: Last day to match offer sheets for RFAs
• April 29 - May 1: 2021 NFL Draft

It'll depend on what type of defense the new HC/DC run.

Stay away from Bama LB Dylan Moses. He's not the same since he tore his ACL in fall camp 2019. He wasn't nearly the same player coming back and playing this year , imo. He lacks awareness, diagnosing skills, ability to run with TE's, RB's or even WR crossing his path. IDK if it's not trusting his knee or he wasn't fully recovered yet.

Here’s more from the memo, which also stipulates any player who “opted out” or received a redshirt year in 2020 still has that count as a fourth year towards draft eligibility. The deadline for underclassmen to petition for special eligibility for the 2021 draft is Monday.

Paye would be nice. in either scheme. Surratt would be interesting LB pick. He is already better than Chase Daniel at QB so we could save a roster spot
