This draft depends on one thing what we get for Stafford.

Whatever they receive in compensation for him still won't be enough to fix this disaster of a roster.

Maybe (3) solid drafts and laying off of any big FA signings this year and stock piling some money for 2022/2023 they might become competitive.

We may have 2 first round picks so you never know

It'll be a start to the rebuild so long as they don't piss that extra pick away trading up to get a QB this year. It'd be a complete waste of picks.

One thing to keep in mind, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press is reporting the Lions have talked to former NFL wide receiver Hines Ward and son of Rex Ryan, Seth Ryan, about potential jobs.

That could mean Robert Prince is out as wide receivers coach, but that has yet to be reported anywhere. Ward had a near Hall of Fame career as a player and was most recently the assistant wide receivers coach for the Jets in 2020. Seth Ryan—a former wide receiver himself—was part of Anthony Lynn’s Chargers staff as a quality control coach. Lynn, of course, is now the Lions’ offensive coordinator.

10 players who impressed at 2021 Senior Bowl practices (detroitlions.com)

2. Quinn Meinerz, G/C, Wisconsin Whitewater
The Senior Bowl is a great opportunity for small-school players like Meinerz to show NFL talent evaluators they can play with anyone. Meinerz didn't look out of place at all. In fact, he was one of the more consistent interior linemen all week. He was strong in pass-rush drills and a road grader in team run drills.

BB_72; This kid has literally destroyed any DL this week. Would look good at RG and has been getting reps at C also.

5. D'Wayne Eskridge, WR, Western Michigan
The Western Michigan University product stood out the first two days before sitting out Thursday's practice for undisclosed reasons. He's only 5-foot-9 and 188 pounds, but his speed and quickness really jump out. He'll likely run the 40 in the 4.3 range whenever he tests pre-draft, and that speed really carries over to the field. He was consistently gaining separation in one-on-one and team drills.

BB_72; need to ask @broncosmitty about this kid. He's been silky smooth in route running with elite burst coming out of his break.

I’d love to see Hines Ward brought in.

He’s dirty af. Love that guy. Had to change the rules cuz he kept making grown men cry.

I really like this group. Not sold on Glenn yet. He will be the key though. Defense scheme needs to be completely revamped.
