Yeah, Smith would be better for OKC than Holmgren whom I think can bust easily. He should be trying to package and move up.

That would be interesting. He should be trying to package and move up.
Absolutely. That's a move Portland would make too. They are rebuilding but I'm sure with Lillard there they want a quick rebuild. They would make trades if needed
Yep back in the top 10He should be trying to package and move up.
Eh....Yeah, Smith would be better for OKC than Holmgren whom I think can bust easily.
Kings may want to move back.Yep back in the top 10
Absolutely.
They tried to get Grant at the deadline.
Gotta think Detroit will be all over that.
Dame, Simons, Nurk, Grant and Hart....
Just need a bench.
OKC's best bet if Orlando decided to go with Holgren and then the Thunder could take Smith without having to trade up to get him.Eh....
The Magic need.....
Well, everything.
So, maybe.
But, I think they will keep the pick , take Jabari and try like Hell to deal Issacs.
Yeah, I really like that scenario for you.If Murray is there even more so. But if the Kings take Murray and Ivey goes to Detroit maybe then Detroit would look at AJ Griffin from Duke with the 7.
Orlando won't take Holmgren #1.OKC's best bet if Orlando decided to go with Holgren and then the Thunder could take Smith without having to trade up to get him.
Probably wishful thinking.
Yeah, I really like that scenario for you.
I really like Grant.
But, getting a top 7 pick for him, in a pretty deep draft, would be a coup.
Absolutely. The thing is detroit was a pretty decent post all star break team. When Cade and Bey started clicking and Hayes coming off the bench. I don't know that they see Grant as a long term piece though, especially given his seemingly outrageous salary demands on the horizon.
I'd prefer they deal him for a pick as even with the strides they made for about 20 games last year their window is still a year or two away.
I don't think he will be a bust.Yeah, Smith would be better for OKC than Holmgren whom I think can bust easily.
Yep follow a Cavs 3-4 year plan. Trade Grant for picks. Build around Cade the next 2-3 years and they will be in playoff contention in that time frame if they draft well.Yeah, I really like that scenario for you.
I really like Grant.
But, getting a top 7 pick for him, in a pretty deep draft, would be a coup.
Yeah it's difficult seeing him being a bust. Safe pick but I don't think his ceiling is as high as Smith or Paolo, at least in my mind he doesn't have a greater chance to be great like those two. Never really know. Either way I like the top 3 A LOT.I don't think he will be a bust.
Might never be All NBA.
But, can be really good in a few years.
I thought about it a bit more last night and came up with a different comp.
Jermaine Oneal.
Do you remember how light in the ass he was coming into the league?
But, I acknowledge that he could go out like Johnathon Bender as well.
I just don't see that.
I'm going long ass Tashaun Prince as his floor.
Yep follow a Cavs 3-4 year plan. Trade Grant for picks. Build around Cade the next 2-3 years and they will be in playoff contention in that time frame if they draft well.

He's gonna be more Allen/Capela less Embiid /Joker.I just didn't like Chet's lack of aggression in the tournament. Looked very tentative at times.
