Tim Thomas reportedly considering a return to the NHL. Flyers fans definitely considering finding Paul Holmgren and hiding his phone.

Eh, I dunno. I think you got fleeced either way, but only time will tell.

Also please don't sign Thomas, Holmgren. Or trade for him, or whatever.

LOL.

I think Timmay has exactly the cool-headedness and ability to keep his opinions to himself that the Philly media needs.

Per The Buffalo News...

Buffalo Sabres goalie Ryan Miller has sold his Elmwood Village townhouse for $640,000, just two months after he first listed it for sale.

Miller, through his RDM Revocable Trust Agreement, sold the 2,700-square-foot condominium on Potomac Avenue to Blanc LLC. The identity of the buyer, whom a source said is from Lewiston, could not be further identified.

It's a seller's market; he should have been able to squeeze 660,000-675,000 out of it - I think he needs a better agent

Yup, blame the Rangers a bit. I don't think opposing teams liked the fact Redden got his full salary, but didn't count against the cap. Teams MUST pay for their mistakes now. I like it.

And the Blackhawks buried Cristobal Huet after the 2010 Stanley Cup championship by sending him to play in France, saving the Hawks around $6.3 million.

And then the Hawks traded Brian Campbell and got Rostislav Olesz (eeek, what a dog he was), but buried him in the AHL saving the Hawks $3.75 million.

No getting around all that now.

Are Vancouver fans all right with Schneider being traded to the Devils? And do they feel happy about Bobby Lou remaining a Canuck and think that he will lead them to the promised land?

Because all I see with Luongo is a great goalie that has problems focusing through long stretches of the season, has problems in the playoffs and can be a total head case.

And this is the guy the Canucks wound up keeping? I know Luongo's contract is awful (for the Canucks at least) but no one put a gun to their head to sign Luongo in the first place for such a ridiculous price and term.

I'm just thinking that I have seen him go for some long stretches where he is just awful...and I have seen him have continuous problems in playoff games.

Maybe I'm way off base here. Let me know if I am.
